That dude is so washed up, it's a blessing in disguise. I don't think it's even disguise. You're getting a much better (albeit obviously different) player in Montolivo.

well, it's not a straight swap at all ... I'm absolutely delighted that Montolivo, as an attacking central midfielder, is joining Milan ... but losing the distinctly defensive centre mid van Bommel (along with Rino, of course) leaves Milan very light on tough-tacklers in the middle of the park ... yeah, they're both washed up, but they have enough experience to play against the league's minnows ... anyway, they need replacing ... Galliani/Allegri better not be thinking that recovering Flamini chalks one replacement off ...

Well, I think that as much progress the DM has made since Makelele was shipped out of Madrid, it's still pretty easy to find quality ones for cheap. What would Lass cost? Free?
