Coming Sunday I'm going to see Shifty Auerbach(one half of The Black Keys) perform here in Amsterdam. I'm also planning on seeing Mando Diao in November and Marcus Miller in December(both in Utrecht), but that's still far away.

With a rough estimate of an average ticket prices of £20, and expenses (in terms of travel, food, beer) of £20. We're talking at least £800 :|

Alamaailman Vasarat, hmm... The name is Finnish, but I haven't heard of them (transaltes to Underworld's hammers (H)). What are they like?

Aren't Oasis and Coldplay playing there too?

And by the way, my uncle got me a ticket to the Göteborg U2 concert (1st of August, I think) for my birthday. :)

Wow I just found out Slightly Stoopid is playing here in Amsterdam in November. I'm so excited for that, they're one of my favourite bands and amazing live. :icon_spin:

Damn, the autumn becomes only better and better. 2 Arctic Monkeys shows just announced in Amsterdam in November! I was pretty bummed I had to miss them when they played Lowlands(just yesterday) cause it had sold out. But this will make all up for it.

This year i've watched Kraftwerk and Radiohead in May, and Prodigy in October. All very good, but Radiohead stands out as the greatest.

Just got back from MTV Winter where my friend opened the show and then two bands I never heard of played before the Arctic Monkeys came out. I really enjoyed it. Got there a bit too early, but the music was good, and all the anglo-saxons in Valencia came to this thing, and I ******* love blue-eyed blondes. **** bars, concerts are the best places to pick chicks up. I got 5 numbers without even asking for them.

But music-wise, yes, good show. The only good thing to happen here since I moved.

You must look like a hipster or a scenester or something. Concerts are only good for niche looking people who fit the image of the band on stage. Not great for normies. At least in my experience, but it's been a long ass time since I've really gone to a show, and when I did I wasn't exactly looking for girls in a sweaty moshpit. So maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm seeing Spoon coming friday.

Long term plan is to go see Mos Def somewhere in April and also going to the Lowlands Festival in August, where blink-182 will most likely perform.

Performed my first concert as a solo pianist with an orchestra. Interesting experience. Was just one song though, there were many piano students playing.
