Hey guys,

it seems that the fifa 2006 database isn't too much different from 2005. That's good news for adding USL 1 and 2 quickly into 2006. I'm not sure about the kits. If they will convert well into 2006. The format is different, but maybe with some sort of graphics program the conversion could be easy, but further testing needs to be done for this. But I don't know how to do this, or what program could be used. Hopefully somebody can make a utility.

Also the International Super Patch also can convert also.

I already imported some of the data for all the players in my patches. From ISP to USL to MLS to CSL.

So I look forward to doing so, time permitting.

Also, if anybody has more Carribean/Central American teams in .c05 format I could easily import it to my database then convert it to 2006 format

Donovan, you can also try to use my UCL update patch, with the UCL 2004/2005 UEFA Cup, and World Cup + Qualifiers

has anyone seen a screen of the US national team?

I hope they have more faces of the players. Like Eddie Johnson and Brian McBride, but..... I kind of think Eddie Johnson won't be. But more than likely Beasley will have a face because he's on PSV. Mcbride, maybe because he's on Fulham, and maybe a starter in the game. Probably not to many others they might make a face for. And why not more MLS faces?

If not, I will try this time around to find a good face maker to make some hopefully.

Any chance that we can see a Concacaf Champions cup and the UNCAF Cup?

Yes, the database for the table_rtsg and table_team_lookup are almost exactly the same. Those tournaments can be imported very easily.

looks like we can have an early start in adding all the teams that we wanted such as the international teams as well as the european clubs. the icing on the cake would be combining all the custom tournaments which had featured in the ISP, Concacaf & UCL update patches in FIFA 2005.

agree with RobbieD PL that donovanfan mite wanna include his UCL update patch into the Concacaf patch!

imagine = [sweetpatch rosters + UCL update patch + concacaf patch!] = FIFA 06 heaven!

Here's a list of all the teams in the Concacaf Champions Cup. Any suggestion on any more above that to add? Why does Jamaica and Trinidad only get one spot in these tournaments anyway, that seems kind of strange.

I think it would be cool to make two leagues, one a carribean league (14 teams) and one a Central American league (16 teams), then who ever could play those leagues in Career mode as well as the Champions Cup.

Central American Teams
CD F.A.S. (SLV)
CD Marath¢n (HON)
CD OLIMPIA (HON)
CSD COMUNICACIONES (GUA)
CSD MUNICIPAL (GUA)
DEPORTIVO ARABE UNIDO (PAN)
DEPORTIVO SAPRISSA (CRC)
DEPORTIVO SUCHITEPEQUEZ (GUA)
DIRIANGEN FC (NCA)
EAGLES FC (BLZ)
LD ALAJUELENSE (CRC)
LUIS ANGEL FIRPO (SLV)
MUNICIPAL PEREZ ZELEDON (CRC)
Parmalat FC (withdrawn)
PLACENCIA PIRATES (BLZ)
SAN FRANCISCO FC (PAN)

Carribean Teams
SV Centro Social Deportivo Barber (ANT)
SV VICTORY BOYS (ANT)
SV BRITANNIA (ARU)
BASSA FC (ATG)
HOPPERS FC (ATG)
RD GRAND BAZAAR DUBLANC (DMA)
SAGICOR SOUTH EAST (DMA)
GRAND BAZAAR DUBLANC (DMA)
Portmore United FC (JAM)
NORTHERN UNITED (LCA)
ROYAL '95 (SUR)
SV ROBINHOOD (SUR)
North East Stars (TRI)
POSITIVE VIBES (VIR)

That would be cool, but I didn't notice anything in the demo database, and the eng.db file has all the teams I assume.

That's all I good get right now. I'll tell you what though, those carribean teams are near impossible to get info on (with the exception of Trinidad and Jamaica). I made a patch of Carib teams for FIFACONCACAF back for 2004 I guess it was, it was freaking hard to do. Had to do a lot of digging and a lot of guesswork. I did Robin Hood that year, but their site: http://www.svrobinhood.net/ is under construction now.

Good luck with it, maybe I'll help if my studies don't get too crazy.

The JNPL (Jamaican league) has just started - 3 rounds played, so I haven't seen all the teams yet, but I'm compiling as much info as I can as I have been planning to do a JNPL patch for the longest time, so I might get around to it this time... you could then use any or all of my created teams for your patch, if you chose to do so.

I really appreciate those websites, that's going to help a lot. Well, it definitely going to be a lot of guesswork for some teams. For some teams, I'm sure the only thing that will be right are the names of the players, and that will be about it. But at least some of these bigger name teams, they can be fairly correct.

Well, Keegan, that would be great! We could even make it so that you could play the Jamaican league in career mode, with qualification for the Carribean Champions Cup, then to the Concacaf Champions Cup, that would be pretty cool.

Any clue why Jamaican teams only get one spot in the Tourney for the Carribean Champions Cup?

I wonder that myself, looks like CONCACAF wants more smaller clubs to get a chance sice Jamacan and Trinidadian teams are more advanced. If I dig up in real old archives maybe I'll MAY find some stuff on the teams e.g the team from Surinam. I think they came and played a match a few years ago.
