Common Name (Known As) not working correctly

Because I added them manually. They weren't in the db, and I don't have dbs from newer FIFA games.

Here you have everything. Player skills as well as ID number

I know. I copied everything from here, but didn't use the ID numbers. Do I have to use those exact ID numbers?
The fix did not help, by the way.

I think I know why this is happening. The player's ID number is too large. Change him to 70000, for example. It should work. I found my game to be like yours. It seems to me that in fifa 16 the last ID that the game reads correctly is ID at the level of 230XXX.

I will try it, but I don't have high hopes at all.

As expected, it doesn't work.

I read this somewhere... might be helpful...

Due to the large number of players in the patch, the playernames table is completely filled and excess entries are in the dcplayernames table. This means if you add new players or edit player names, the names may be missing in-game. This can be resolved by copying all entries from the playernames table with IDs of 29000 and higher to the dcplayernames table.
this is for the jersey names, in order to appear in game

This is a really strange thing. Some players have common names in the game and some of them do not. I analyzed dbmaster entries carefully and found no difference between a player who displays correctly in the game and one whose nickname is not displayed.

Exactly. It seems to be happening for no reason whatsoever.

OK, I have discovered something. Apparently, there is some sort of thing in the game where if it sees that the first name and last name have similar strings in them to the common name, they cause this problem.
I'll explain:
For Gavi, I wrote "Pablo Martín" as his first name, and "Páez Gavira" as his last name. His common name is "Gavi". The game sees that the word "Gavi" is part of the last name "Gavira", and because of this decides that the common name can be used with the first name. Again, don't ask me why it does this, but this is what the game does. After removing the word "Gavira" from the last name string, the game now displays the player's name correctly as simply "Gavi". Weird, but this is how it works.
So in other words, if the common name somehow appears in the last name it will not be displayed properly.

Interesting discovery and noteworthy. I don't know if it's just for me, but Real Madrid footballer Vinicius Jr. appears in the game as Jr. This is annoying.

Ok, so the solution is dumb, but it works.
If you want the common name to be displayed correctly, this is what needs to happen:
If the common name is completely different from the first name and last name, it will display correctly. For example: Marquinhos.
If the common name partially appears only in the first name, it will display correctly. For example: Fred.
If the common name is the same as the first name, it will display correctly. For example: Cristiano Ronaldo.
If the common name is the last name and then the first name, it will display correctly. For example: Son Heung-min.
In other cases, there are two possible solutions:
1. Remove any words that are the same or contain the common name inside them, just like I've removed "Gavira" from Gavi's name, and it works now.
2. Copy the common name into the first name, either by making them the same or by adding the common name into the first name. So for Vinicius, you can either make his first name "Vinícius Júnior" or add this name like this: "Vinícius "Vinícius Júnior"".
This should solve the problem.

Thanks for these valuable tips.
You're welcome. This is something I've noticed after working on some Arab teams, where the common name is usually the first two names. I've noticed that the Arab names work perfectly in the game, and so I decided to try this with others.
It is important to explain the Vinicius Junior problem, though.
Since his common name has two words in it, simply removing the word "Junior" from his last name won't do. You need to either also remove the word "Vinicius" from his first name, or just do what I did.
If his common name was simply "Vinicius" without any other word, the Gavi solution would work.
So, if the common name is a word from the first name plus any other word (even if it doesn't appear in the last name), you have to make it all appear in the first name, or remove the first name word that appears in the common name.

not exactly a new discovery, as scouser has already fixed it the same way in FIP 5, but it's good to be a common knowledge
