Why? Because the Badgers are LEGIT! This might be the best 2 week stretch in program history: Last week knocked off the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes, and this week go to Iowa and win in one of the best games I've ever seen, not to mention one of the gutsiest performances that I've ever seen from Wisconsin.

Bye week now to get healthy, then @Purdue who got destroyed by Ohio State this week, Indiana, @Michigan, and then close with Northwestern. 11-1 is quite possible. Rose Bowl is possible. This is awesome.

Of course, we also have the possibility that we'll finish 5 in the BCS and go to the Capital One Bowl because tOSU and MSU get ranked above us, which would be total ******* bull****.

Best Offensive line vs Best Defensive Line?

Yeah Right! WIS pushed the Hawkeyes around.

MSU WILL lose a game.

BTW, I had John Clay(the supposed latest incarnation of Ron Dayne) in my pre-season Heisman top 3. He's shown some signs of coming around but overall has gotten off to a pretty pedestrian start.

Clay was never gonna win the Heisman. Goes down too easily, so he can't break long runs, which means he can't have those HUGE games that you need as a Heisman candidate at RB.

First things first....the SEC is down this year and has only got 2 good teams:
1-loss (LUCKY) LSU...they're more lucky than good, to be honest
2-loss (out of the national/SEC title picture) Alabama

Arkansas can't beat good teams. And South Carolina has 3-losses. Not to mention their record against the piss-poor SEC East is BS...dammit, they lost to Kentucky.

Auburn......has lucked their way to a win over 1 good team-LSU. They have also lucked their way to wins over the majority of SEC teams that they've played. They have NOT been convincing. The ONLY reason why they're #1 is because they haven't lost yet. I think they're going to get throttled by Alabama in Tuscaloosa. I really hope they do. They're a farcical team and need to be exposed for their true worthless selves.

Now, Ohio State president: Boise State and TCU do NOT belong in the BCS title game:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5845736

As much as I hate Ohio State, I must say that I agree with everything he said. The powerhouses HAVE to be rewarded. Wisconsin will be the highest (BCS) ranked team in the toughest conference in the country. They and Stanford are the BEST one-loss teams out there and neither will even get mentioned in the national title conversation.

Instead you're going to choose a team who beat Utah....the same Utah that got destroyed by a Notre Dame team that lost to Tulsa (THAT'S RIGHT...TULSA!) and Navy??? Are you kidding me? TCU played a sh*t-all schedule this year...Utah and Oregon State aren't as good as people thought they were.

And don't get me started about that damn Boise State. They beat Virginia Tech. That's ALL! It's funny that ESPN(and by that I mean Brent Mussberger) keeps making such a big deal about their games against Hawaii, Fresno State and Nevada......that's the who's-who of NOBODY CARES.

Just look at what Wisconsin has done this year:
Lost to 1-loss Michigan State
Beaten 1-loss Ohio State
Beaten T25 ranked(BCS or AP) Iowa, IN Iowa City which is a very tough place to win for visiting teams
Climbed to the top of a conference with 7 7-win* teams! That's 7 teams out of the 11 teams in the conference. That means that nearly ALL the teams are tough outs. And oh, by-the-way, their conference has 3 1-loss teams.

the Big-10 has 4 quality teams: WIS, OSU, MSU and IOWA(hard to see which SEC team other than Alabama could win a game, in late November, in Iowa City).

Yet Wisconsin is going to have to "settle" for a Rose Bowl (possible...hopefully....rematch with Stanford). LSU has beaten a 2-loss Alabama and done nothing else that is impressive. Stanford, by comparison, has ONLY lost to the #1 ranked team in the country and obliterated their conference's only other good team - a soon-to-be 2 loss Arizona. Infact the majority of Stanford's wins have been VERY convincing....hardly worth comparing to grass-eating LSU's narrow and unconvincing HOME victories over the likes of Tenessee and Ole Miss.

TCU AD Chris Del conte:
"I sat back and just thought about our football program and our coach and realized that to start throwing stones at your house, they must be jealous," Del Conte said. "We have a phenomenal football program. ... And someone now starts taking shots at TCU? That means we've arrived."

Del Conte said he'd love to put the Buckeyes on TCU's schedule.

"Anytime. Anyplace. Anywhere," he said. "Buckeyes against the Horned Frogs. Tee it up. Let's go."

This is one of the worst things ever said. Auburn is completely legit. They didn't luck out against LSU by any means, in fact LSU defensive players were making remarks all game to Auburn players about how good Cam Newton is. Regardless of what they do in Tuscaloosa tomorrow, Auburn is an excellent team.

In all honesty, LSU is better than both of us. I wish it wasn't true, but I think it probably is.

I'm terrified of TCU. I think they could beat Wisconsin by 20 points. Boise feeds off emotion and will play well no matter who they play. The real argument is that YES, TCU and Boise can beat any team, but would they go undefeated in the Big Ten, SEC, or Pac 10? Obviously not.

Just look at what Wisconsin has done this year:
Lost to 1-loss Michigan State
Beaten 1-loss Ohio State

Yes, Wisconsin is pretty good and we're peaking at the right time. It's actually kind of amazing that we've suffered through some pretty important injuries all year. I think the John Clay injury is the reason we've been so dominant the last few weeks (Clay is so overrated it isn't even funny), but Chris Borland and Mike Taylor (he's back now) missing games definitely hurt.

the Big-10 has 4 quality teams: WIS, OSU, MSU and IOWA(hard to see which SEC team other than Alabama could win a game, in late November, in Iowa City).

Well you're wrong. Auburn, LSU, Bama, South Carolina, and possibly Arkansas and Mississippi State could all win in Iowa City this year. Iowa is good, but they aren't as good as you think.

Yet Wisconsin is going to have to "settle" for a Rose Bowl (possible...hopefully....rematch with Stanford). LSU has beaten a 2-loss Alabama and done nothing else that is impressive. Again, I love my team, but we don't REALLY deserve to be in the National Title Game. I would say LSU and Stanford are better 1 loss teams and obviously Oregon and Auburn are better. I don't think it's fair if one of the non-AQ teams went before Wisconsin because of the aforementioned point about how they would do in a big conference, but whatever. Oh, and because of a new rule, unless Boise or TCU plays for the National Title, the Rose Bowl will have to take a non-AQ team.

Yes, that is a real shame. I just found that out this morning on College Gameday. That's really disappointing!

Yes, Cam Newton is the Heisman winner. But I don't know what OTHER positives came out of the Alabama game other than his Heisman credentials. Auburn, as a team, would be sh*t without him. They have NO ONE ELSE! As a team, I disagree about how good they are.

BTW, Alabama has to be the MOST disappointign team of the year. Not Colorado, not Texas and certainly not the Miami Hurricanes......it's ALABAMA! #1 in the pre-season but unable to hold a big lead at home. What a joke they are. What a joke the SEC is. I disagree with you on that. South Eastern Conference teams can't play defence this year. THEY JUST CAN'T!

Now, 2 years ago I really enjoyed Sam Bradford and OU vs Oklahoma State in Stillwater. Needless to say, I was looking forward to that game this year...ALL SEASON LONG! But ABC decides that (I get the Buffalo ABC feed) Eastern time zone folks want to see Notre Dame get flatlined in the Coliseum. NO WE DON'T! I was gutted to find out that that's what they giving us instead of the OU-OKST game. I really hope Matt Barkley throws 5 TDs in the first half and the the game as a contest ends mid-way through the 3rd Q forcing them to switch over to the Big-12 game. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT.

The Big-"10" now has 2 divisions: Leader and Legend.

BTW, CBS really hit the Carlos*pot with the Sun Bowl. Traditionally, that game is between 2 teams that are in the middle of their respective conferences and is quite hard to watch....the teams aren't going to get too much national attention. Pre-game hype is non-existent.

Then comes this year: Miami-Notre Dame: The re-match!

PS: I would have liked to see Bo Pelini at Miami.

Yeah, Catholics vs. Convicts like 8 months before it happens at Soldier Field. Kind of ****s over NBC because unless this is just an AMAZING GAME (which I'm sure it won't be), the luster is kind of off the game in Chicago.

The name of the sport doesn't mean sh*t.

For the majority of sports (for me personally) the name of a sport is not an indicator of whether I will be interested in the sport or not.

If the sport of soccer was called dog-monkey-buffalo, would I still follow it? Yes.

If "American Football" was called handball, would I still follow it? Yes.

------------------------X------------------------

Anyways, I'm thoroughly enjoying Terelle PRior and Co. being in the situation that they're in. People are saying he'll enter the draft and solve all his problems! HA! As what? A tight end or WR? Because he sure as hell isn't getting in as a QB. His predecessor, Heisman Trophy winning Troy Smith, has done sh*t-all in his time in the NFL...and while he too wasn't given much of a chance, this guy is worse. I can't see him in the NFL.

He should have gone to Michigan and he knows it, which is why he came out and said it. He chose OSU because the offense was supposed to be closer to a pro-style offense which would better prepare him for the NFL. TAKE THAT! Your career is over and you've made ZERO progress as a QB. Pull a Greg Paulus and transfer, then switch sports....basketball is your only hope, assuming BTW you're half decent at that.

BTW, I have very fond memories of Ralf Friedgen's first 3 years, but especially his first year, in Maryland. Shame that they replaced him. There's only one direction in which they'll be heading....straight down. Miami was going to be sh*t next year, ditto for Florida State and VTech without Tyrod Taylor would have struggled. The ACC would have been fairly wide open. What could have been.

It's a shame because I wanted to post this earlier and now the first video has been taken down by Youtube.

This year's CWS became even more entertaining when ESPN sent America's girlfriend Erin Andrews to interview LSU's Les Miles who was sitting in the stands at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb (this year's CWS was the last to be held at this stadium). Now, he was updating his Twitter page from the stands, at the time, and talked about various football and non-football topics during this interview with her.

Regarding letting 2 of his football players play on the baseball team — Chad Jones(S) and Jared Mitchell(WR) — he said, "We recruited guys that played baseball and they wanted to play baseball, and so we wanted to give them that opportunity and it wasn't that hard."

The full interview was on Youtube, but as I said above, it has been taken down...DISAPPOINTINGLY!.

Now, here is his response to being questioned about this interview:
