First of all hello everyone!

Second thank you very much Rinaldo for this very useful tool it is awesome!

Now to my question:

I tried to change the adboards for Real Sporting de Gijon and I added my custom png adboard into an empty slot and I've tried it with both the check box checked for "has unique adboards" and not checked but no matter what I do they don't show up. When I check the box the default FIFA adboards show up. When I don't check the box the BBVA adboards show. Please help!

I'm not certain about this one but no one else has answered you so I will take my best shot. I recall that several versions ago (maybe FIFA 11?) there was an issue with switching adboards which required the user to have to edit them in FileMaster instead of Creation Master. I have not played with adboards in FIFA15 so I do not know if that problem persists.

As always, I might also try regenerating the FAT and BH within CM.

Hi all,

I edited league structures (combined Dutch and Belgian league) and it works fine. However, I also want to update all rosters and player skills and attributes according to the latest FIFA update. I used the 'update roster' option, but players skills aren't affected by that. Is there a way to update the player database according to the FIFA update?

Thanks!

No one else answered you, so I will take my best shot.

What actually happens when you edit update the roster? Are you updating from within CM? Do you see the changes in creation master?

One thought might be to start with a fresh installation on another machine. Then update the roster on the new machine. Then create a massive CMP patch for all the players in those teams, but which only updates the relevant changed information (I.e., the player attributes). Then import that new CMP into your existing installation.

All of that assumes that when you update the rosters in CM15, you are actually seeing changes in CM.

Also be sure you're disabling squad updates within the game itself.

Thanks for the quick reply! What a great forum! As a newb I don't even know what file master is. Also what is FAT and BH? Since I don't know what they are you can imagine I haven't tried regenerating them yet, I'll give that a shot upon your reply.

No problem. Fat and Bh can be regenerated in creation master by going to tools --> regenerate (I think).

I'm actually skeptical that will work. But it's an easy thing to try.

You should be able to google 'file master 15 FIFA' to get a download link. I'm responding from my phone so can't find a link. Check back a few pages in this post too. I think I posted a link for someone else recently.

I was able to find file master but I'm not sure how to use it to update the adboards any tips would be much appreciated, thanks!

inside File Master's install files is a tool named RX3 Master, use it to import graphics.

Thanks! That worked, is there any way I can use file master or any other utility to view what a player's potential rating INSIDE a current career mode (not stock rosters)

I would like to see if players potential changes when they are loaned or purchased and I don't think there's any way to see a player's potential rating within the game aside from the vague statements in the squad report for players under 22

My understanding is that the potential values are static. So, a given player cannot ever have a rating higher than their potential and their potential will not ever change. If someone knows different, please correct me.

I thought so too, but I noticed through several career modes with the same players I was getting different results from them. IE Matt Besler grew to 81 in one instance and stayed at 73 for 3 years in another, both with similar runs of form and playing time this is just one example. Then I found out about the popular loan player potential glitch (search youtube) and started putting two and two together that maybe EA built in a potential modifier for when players get transferred that can possible increase or decrease their potential (within a range) to simulate the real world possibility of players being a good or bad fit (see: Jozy Altidore move from AZ to Sunderland as a RW example of the latter). To prove my hypothesis I want to know of a utility that will allow me to look under the hood at player potentials DURING the career mode. If anyone knows a way to do this it would be greatly appreciated. I was able to use file master to look into the DATA file for a saved career but it's all a bunch of jibberish I tried using the search converting alphanumeric to hex for both player names and id number but it still doesn't decode all the weird jibberish. HELP! jibberish HELP! :blah:

Try getting internal master 12 and use it to open the career save, so you'll have access to the db tables from that particular save and you can check out the differences between attributes from that vs the default db perhaps. Maybe that might help you make sense of how it works.

Problem: Internal master only opens XML files the save files for career files in Fifa15 (my documents folder) just have two files in the folder with no extension one is "DATA" the other "INDEX" am I looking in the wrong place?

You can try using the xml from the default Fifa db and it should work

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the DB Master for FIFA 15. It can not extract from the .big file. The error message is "Database not present in the BIG file".

I have an alternative installation-path but I set this alternative path in the registry (Win 7) so DB Master should be able to find the game. In FIFA 14 the same method worked like a charm.

My goal is to extract the playergrowth.ini and modify it. If there are methods to achive this by using another tool or a patch I would be very happy to hear about it.

Thanks,

gutemine

Is your issue with Database Master or File Master?

Meanwhile I tried both and the FHL-BH-Editor. DB-Master reacts like described (Database not present in BIG file), File Master (version for FIFA 14 since the version for FIFA 15 is currently not downloadable) can extract the playergrowth.ini but regenerating the database doesn't seam to work (very short duration time and the playergrowth.ini consists only of weird ASCII-Symbols without any formating). The FHL-BH-Editor doesn't even start. The .exe appears very shortly under "processes" in the task manager but then nothing happens and the .exe disappears from the task manager.

Hope this helps.

You would extract ini files with file master 15. I provided a link to it a few pages back in this thread.

Thanks! I found your link and got the File Master 15. Now I can read the .big files and extract the playergroth.ini. But still there is only unreadable gibberish in the file. Is that normal?

I thought I would extract the file into my fifa-root-folder to bring the extracted file to the right place then regenerate and voilá. But no, there is only this unreadable file. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

gutemine

Yea, that's a problem I have run into as well. I think that at some point recently EA Sports started encrypting their .ini files. I don't believe anyone has been able to decrypt them yet.

I have not done a ton of research on this issue and could be completely wrong about all of that information. If someone knows more, please correct me. I know some people have discussed being able to edit some text files, but I don't know which or how. Need a bigger wig than I to figure this one out. If you do, please send me the solution and I will send you cake.
