CM or fifa.db problem?

so my FIFA 08 was working perfectly, then i installed CM08, and edited a few kits, and it was still working properly, then i edited some player data, and then the game stopped working. So then i reloaded my backup fifa.db, and then my game started working again

now, for some reason, the game crashes every time i'm about to start again
e.g. Click Kick-off --> Classic --> crash
Game Modes --> MAnagermode --> Load "FIFA08" --> Crash

can someone help me please?:$:$

edit: i've already tried re-installing it, but still no progress
