CM 0304 patches...

I do believe SI Games told us cm 0304 was NOT supposed to be an update of cm 4 (which i think it is coz not that much changed compared to cm 4) and we didnt have to wait for all those updates like we had on cm 4 (6 patches released).

Yet, cm 0304 has been out for not too long and already 2 patches have been released. will they ever succeed in creating a game without loads of bugs in it? because there are some people around who dont have fast internet connections, or no connections at all, does this mean they shud not buy the game at all? i mean they cant download the patches obviously.

CM4 had 5 not 6.

CM0304 will only have 2 patches so SI have announced as they need to start work on the new game (i believe), personally i dont really feel theres anything that needs correcting with the game as it is now, so there shouldnt be another patch

Every game has bugs in it, even CM0102 had bugs in it and it is widely considered to be the best ever programmed CM.

For the internet connections problem, well they do a magazine that is shipped to various countries every 3 months which will have the latest patch on it, so if you can spare a few quid you can get em that way.

If there is someone who has not got internet access and cannot get to a shop to get the magazine at some point, then i dont really see how they could actually get the game in the first place, but im sure if SI and Eidos were to lose that percentage of customers, they really wouldnt mind.

You're argument is heavily flawed.

lot of ppl still have problems with playing online and some other bugs are still in the game, for me the editor doesnt even work with the latest patch.

dont get me wrong i love the game and i am addicted to it since cm 99/00 but i do feel that if you buy a game like this it should not be that you have to buy 2 magazines in order to have your game running properly. SI and Eidos promised before they released this game that there wudnt be any patches needed, the game shud be running smoothly, well guess not.

yeah thanks ruud.

I admit, the editor is poor but not completly useless in the slightest. As for the game, im playing it now with EP2 and it runs fine, im addicted.

Didn't wanna make a new thread so i'll post it here.

Are the two patches worth while? 'Cos in CM4 all i remember the patches doing is fixing some bugs then create so more :confused:
