Hello guys,

this year I tried to make some faces with the help of facegen but I still have problems with shiny/bright and buggy textures.

Is there someone who can say me what I'm maybe doing wrong?

I'm doing everything like in the video-tutorial...

my opinion...the first method is the classic....in game is great, close up great...the second best in-game, but in the close up, the sun worsens

I tested the blender v2.71 configs of halilyc.
I assigned the player over revolution mod.
I renamed the texture in blender v2.71 to head_cm.
I added the vertex colours col0 and col1 and "Auto Mesh Paint"'ed them in Mode 1.
I renamed the UVMap in blender v2.71 to map0.
I added blackandwhite-map over CM15.
I added other texture over CM15.

But still I have the bug of shiny texture with an green neck ingame :nape:

Here some preview. Still have the problem with shiny textures ingame.
Because of that there is not so much effort in textures.

Thanks to SWEJIM!
I got it fixed.
The bug appears if you just paint the meshes in the facegen files.
If you reimport the faces and then add the meshes another time it will be fixed!
Now I can start creating faces!

Just import again the same faces?
1, paint the meshes in the facegen files
2, export
3, import the same file

Is't that right?

Paint meshes in facegen, export facegen, Reimport the head.rx3, paint the meshes, export it :)
