You can try to put the icon in free agents, for example, there is a Van Basten from Milan and from Ajax, I don't touch Van Basten from Milan, but I put Van Basten from Ajax in free agents.

I have written in first post that I am creating these mods for my own usage, and that I am willing to share them if people are interested to use them. By the number of downloads I can see that there is a lot of interest, but I am not here to fulfill everybody's wishes and I am not taking requests. You are free to create your own kits if you don't like the ones I have created, you can change player ratings, club formations, you can remove players from squads, you have squad files and mods I'm sharing as a starting point. Don't expect me to do everything for you.

I have created classic squads for some teams for my own use, but decided to share them if someone else would find them fun to play with. I have been using Icons, Heroes, faces from previous games, couple of Frankensteins by combining different players to create a new one(John Barnes head and Tom Ince face = Paul Ince, or Steve Bruce head and Alex Bruce face to have younger Steve Bruce), some generic high quality faces that are kind of similar to some real players(some of them probably look nothing like real players they represent, but I'm ok with that, and I don't care if you don't agree ), some faces I created myself in create a player option, some players I created according to youtube tutorials, and there a lot of basic generic faces. Also I have created hundreds of players so ratings are probably not so good for a lot of them, but again they are good enough for me, you can edit them if you want.

Also for some teams I have added some classic kits, some of them are classic kits from previous games, and some of them I created myself.

This is 90s edition, but some players are there even if they played earlier - Best, Puskas, etc. Some players are not from that era, usually goalkeepers, but I needed to complete 18 man squads so I mixed it up a bit. I am in the process of creating 00-04 classic teams, after that probably for 3 year periods 04-07, 07-10, 10-13, and maybe 13-16. So if there is interest I will upload those too.

In future I will probably add Red Star Belgrade to both 90s and 00s, possibly Feyenoord 00s, and maybe I will make my old home town team Sartid in one of the 90s or 00s. But now I am working on squad for period 04-07. It will have 18 English teams, and I think 24 other European teams. After that there will be squad file for 07-10 period with even more teams.
3. This is not in my plans. If I have time maybe in future, but those will probably be just my pictures from Old Trafford so I don't think that any one would be interested in that

And when will the mod be updated for TU8?

I've read you don't have plans to add them on career db, so I'll try to import some players on my squads files, linked to free agents with 19 years old (for my personal use). If you agree I can help you on this in private if you are interested in it

Just one questions: about the faces mods, I have seen that the faces overwrite exisitng ones and are now assigned to classic players.
The original players with those ids have now no specific faces anymore, but that can be solved I guess by checking for them "hasgenericface" now, since EA has certainly set generic settings for those players

So basically, the classic players will have their own ids, using relinked face files (specific) and the overwritten faces will not be a problem since the original players from which those specific faces were belonging will simply have "generic faces".

Does it only work on kick-off? When I enter the tournament omode, there are all the kits but the players are latest basically no classic teams. I loaded the squadfile for sure. Triple Checked It.

Thank you for the offer, but I don't like mixing current players with older ones, so I don't plan to use them in career mode.

Yes, you can just edit headclasscode property of current players that were overridden and set it to 1, if you want their generic faces.
The other option would be to to override them again by creating new mod. For example over Dolberg's face I have added Thuram. If you don't need Thuram you can use editor tool, export Dolberg's face, and import it again over Dolberg. Editor tool will register that there were some changes with his face, and if you create mod with that edit, and put it in place of more priority then my face mod in your mod manager, you will have Dolberg instead of Thuram, and other faces will be from my mod.

No, all mods should work in tournament modes too.
Faces mod is used with all 3 different squad files(90s retro, 90s and 00s). It can happen that squad file is not applied if you changed something in it, so maybe there is some problem with ids.

I changed nothing. Yes maybe there is an issue with the id's. I will check again.

Kai Havertz started to play professional football in 2016, and this is classic mod, so I don't plan to put him in any version of squads and I am ok with his face being overridden with Niasse. You can create your own mod with his face like I explained here.
