I for one smoke smoke a pack of blue gauloises a day [ok, 2 on the weekends]:
I also like Parisienne Noire, but those are only available in Switzrland and Austria.
american style cigarettes like marlboro, philip morris and stuff are a bit too perfumed for my liking.

I also enjoy a good cigar from time to time. In terms of reasonably priced cigars, my favourites are probably Romeo Y Julietta.
I dont know what the best selling packs are in the UK, alot of people seem to smoke Marlboro and Benson & Hedges. Also the chavs all smoke Lambert & Butler.
. Though you can always outclass them by buying a class (yet more expensive), black, pack of Nanoteks.

the best cigar I have had the pleasure to smoke so far would be a trinidad robusto extra. very spicy, i always have a taste of black pepper on my tounge. sadly they are very expensive at ~30€.

I once went too a really aristocratic new years party, where the host had left boxes of really high quality Montecristo's on the tables for people to help themselves too, and they were really, really fine. Indie kids love their Malboro Lights - because it's smoking without all the hassle; i doubt the even inhale.
Personally i enjoy Camel Lights, which is a bit shameful because to me, i've always seen them as the brand that rich private school girls smoking underage would choose. I dont know why.
I once unfortunately bought a pack of Richmond, possibly the most butters type of grete around, i don't think i could even finish it - it just cuts your throat and makes you want to vomit.
