Chelsea, wolfs 2005 patch?

I thought Id have a go at Chelsea as I usually alway play as my team celtic, Ive always had a soft spot for Chelsea ever since the days of Charlie Cook!


It would seem by the default formation that they dn't get forward as I would like, I thought Id play with the default as it I guess would be as the real team.


I have played 5 game in the EPL (league not MSL) and so far I have won 4 and drawn 1..

Everton 0-0
Mid/Bro 2-1
Chartn 1-0
BlBurn 1-0
Boltn 1-0


With the formation (default) and I guess style, I can't seem to score a lot of goals or create that many chances...

Is it me, or would you say its the deafult formtaion and style thats stopping me creating more chances and thus scoring more goals...

Ive played as Arsenal before and its all out attack from all!

Is this down to the stats of each player and or the formation and style, or have Konami ADDED unseen stats/attributes to certain players and or teams?

I mean if I was to take the time and copy all of the Arseanl players stats to Chelsea or anyother team and then set out Arseanals formation, would Chelsea or any team then start to play and act like Arseanal and there players.....

Or have Konami built in to certain hidden attributes and style that no matter if you were to copy the stats player for player from Arsenal to anyother team , it still wouldn't mean that the team with the Arsenal stats and formation would play like Arseanl?

Try some different formations, try counter attacking....i guess.
I find some teams formations make it very difficult for me to score.....

I've found Forssell is the best striker among all the four strikers in Chelsea. Don't know why.

Drogba never hit a successful header goal for me. But he's very good at header pass.
Kezman has a teamwork of 59. I only list him in my startline when he's in red.

I tried the 4-4-2 with a diamond midfield with Lampard just behind the front 2 ! Still 1-0?


Though that said , Ive just finished my 9th League game of the season beating Arsenal away 1-0, and that was with 10 men!

I checked the League table and I am now 3rd Arsenal are top with 8W 0D 1L (24pts) Man Utd are the same 8W 0D 1L (24pts) but less goals!

I am sitting 3rd with 6W 3D 0L (21pts) that win away against Arsenal was there 1st loss of the season, Strange but I have played Leagues before taking 1 ELP out and putting Celtic in I struggle against (lower teams?) but when i played Arsenal or ManUtd or Chelsea I would score 3/4/5 goals in these games.

I remeber playing as Celtic and drawning against Newcastle 1-1 getting beat by Bolton 3-2 and also lossing to Southhampton 2-0 before playing top of the table Arsenal away, and I thought here we go a thrasing is awaiting you!

I beat Arseanl 5-0 with Arseanl hardly having a shot on target, when I looked at the Table it was Arsenals 1st defeat and 1st points dropped...
