Yeah, your mom would look good in a compilation vid so you can't judge players on them. Carvalho's consistent so I and Mourinho isn't the sort of guy that takes out a defender like that right away on the merit that someone in the same position is playing well. Alex is gonna have to prove himself, or wait for someone to get injured, the more likely scenario.

Benni McCarthy sounds good but African Nations Cup! i would love to have him at Chelsea tho hes got a good never say die attitude and hes been banging in goals professionally and even at an international level since he was 17 so no problems with him not scoring but then again its only a rumor. but the Pizzaro situation is a puzzling one never heard anything about him joining Chelsea.

I dont' really know how I feel about that. If he's going to be a 3rd or 4th order striker then fine but I'd have more faith in Schev. This probably means though that we won't be making a big name striker signing this summer and Johnson should be coming back but he's a poor quality RB, even in comparison to Bhoularouz.

why are you always complaining? Pizzaro is a good enough striker who needs a big name signing this is not Madrid, i would rather have a Pizzaro rather than have our club spend a 100 mil on Villa. we already have Shev, Drog, Kalou and now Pizzaro thats good enough. any one know anything about Crespo's situation?

Crespo's staying at Inter for next season so his Blue career is pretty much over. And I honestly would have rather had him than Pizarro but he just didn't want to play with us.

I guess the management is still giving Sheva a Chance, hes a big signing, and getting another striker would be like a slap on his face, but if he doesnt perform till January, i guess we will need to search for alternatives.

And apart from defenders, i dont think we ever had any problems for cover, with the midfield we have- Lamps, ballack, essien, mikel, wright phillips, joe cole, robben and now sidwell..who else do we supposedly need??

Our team from last year is good enough to win all the competitions....all we have to do now is plug up the gaps due to injury and I think Jose is going in the right direction by bringing sidwell & Pizarro

I know most would be disagreeing right now, but I'd honestly rather have Schev. I'm confident that he has it in him to perform in the Premiership. Adriano isn't consistent and Brazilian attackers don't fare well in the Premiership anyways. Adriano's lost it this year.

Adriano's a different type of Brasilian attacker, look how big he is, it would take him a little bit to adapt to the pace of the game, but I think he'd do better than Shevchenko did this year.

i agree with Kulixs, Adriano is not ur usual brazilian striker, hes like 6'3 and very built and very aggressive and would adapt to the prem much faster than sheva, he did bad this yr cuz of his fitness problems, but with mourinhos fitness plans he would be top notch and also hes 6 YEARS younger , Sheva has more quality thats without a doubt i just think Adrianos potential is stilll waiting to be tapped. Short term sheva would be the choice ... but definitley for the long term Adriano would be great choice

Chelsea have reported Real Madrid to Fifa for an illegal approach to Robben.

I think this is just Calderon talking big to back up his election promises. He wants Fabrigas, Robben and Kaka. It looks like he will be dissapointed on all three counts.

As for Sheva, he's staying with us. How he performs next season is more important than his performances last season. Saying that, I personally do not think he had as bad a season as some would like to make out. For his first season in the EPL after playing for so long in Italy, and playing to Jose's strict instructions, I thought he did pretty well considering. His goals were important goals and his all round contribution has gone pretty much unrecognised. I'm looking forward to watching him again next season.
