Arsenal were interested, but seemed to have gone cold after some stern resistance from the Blues. However, the Frenchman has managed to have his say, and make a move across London.

so we get our first loss of the season, i really dont remember the last time we lost 2-0 under Mourinho. This season will definitely be tight, the number of quality sides outside the top 4 is growing, and its great. Glad Alex got the start and he played well , SWP was good but his end product needs working thats for sure, i wonder if Mourinho will put Sheva in now , i think he will especially after a loss like this with neither strikers really performing.
Abromovich ****n annoyed me when he put on that frustrated look on and left before the game ended this guy says he is a football fan and loves Chelsea FC. Wtf you can't expect a team to win every game and seeing that we haven't won at Villa Park in EPL since 99 this came as no surprise I knew it would be a very taught one Villa deserved to win in the end.
chelsea played really bad this game. mourinho never won at villa park but that's not an excuse
i think the main mistake was putting makelele,mikel and essien in the starting eleven, that's just too defensive. defensive midfielders have no speed or creativity so basically it was just malouda, drogba and swp in the front, and ocasionally a.cole
i think joe cole should have played as an center attacking midfielder with freedom to appear in both wings and create spaces for the other players
but even so, the team should have played a lot better
no one is in good shape, except for wright phillips and lampard who is injured
and now drogba might be injured also, it doesn't look good
let's just hope that the quality of playing improves and that sheva shows his value this season, that's if mourinho gives him a chance...
and there's another thing bothering me. i've been watching chelsea's campaigns in premierleague since mourinho and i've never seen a better right-back in the team than ferreira, i mean he costed 20 million euros and was very important in the first 2 season where chelsea was almos unbeatable
last year mourinho started selecting other players to that position, even when ferreira wasn't injured, like diarra, geremi, essien....
no belletti comes, is training with the team for a few days and goes straight into the starting eleven
i don't think ferreira is the best right-back in the world but i think that given the options he should be in the starting eleven

No he didn't loose interest in the club, but its like seeing some fans deciding to leave early because their team is loosing how is that supposed to make the players and the coach feel.mannu;2393908 said:

are u guys kidding? Belleti performed well enough for me to keep his place at least for the next match, he was putting in quality crosses and was defending quite decently for most part of the game....the only mistake he made was letting Ashley Young slip past him in the 88th minute(or summat), which ultimately brought to Villa's second goal....Alex was decent too, you don't see bigger defenders than Terry that often.........i agree tho, why put Mikel, Makelele and Essien in the beginning....we lacked the cutting edge....Joe Cole's introduction was a bit late and SWP shouldn't been subbed....
