Man, how many more times are we going to have stupid-ass threads about this crap? Does it even really matter which club is the biggest in the world? For one, it's nearly impossible to agree on how to define the biggest club in the world, and second, just support your own club and forget about this crap. Debating this shit just highlights the sad fact that football has become purely about money. Hell, trophies only really matter any more in the fact they mean new/increased cashflows.

Real Madrid biggest club in the world, that's about it. Chelsea won't be overtaking it any time soon. I define the biggest club, based on it's history, because you become the biggest by showing what you have achieved. Unless good ol' Peter thinks that Chelsea will win the next 8 CL titles, he is way off schedule. But we all know that all Peter sees is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.


pede, yeah, the Chelsea fans don't care how popular their club is, as long as they do good. The thing was Roman though is that he bought Chelsea in hopes of making it the most popular club out there. Which again would have been bringing in money, since once you are past 7 zeros, you want to make even more. I'm pretty sure that Roman sees Chelsea as a money-maker in the long-run.

Alright, so Real Madrid and Man United were the biggest clubs in the world, Chelsea's gonna be the biggest club in the world. End of story.
Maybe though, some rich Russian might invest in a club like Tottenham and it'll be a different story. I really don't give. As long as they can win trophies now and in the future, then I'm happy and don't care if I end up one of the only Chelsea fans in the world (I know that's not gonna happen, just trying to make a point)

A few FA cups and a few league titles. That's fine if you believe you will rip Arsenal, we will see on December 10th. your right I dont want to be one of these fans that live in the past and I try not to do that all im saying is to become the biggest football club. That imo ignores what Milan, Real Madrid, Ajax, Liverpool have done.

Chelsea are nothing special as a football team, for all their money spent the quality of football is still far behind Barcelona , Man United or Arsenal as a spectical to watch, unless people get excited by a team grinding out 1-0 wins then I can't see them increasing their fan base.
