Chammas, this only happens in Career mode. If u want 2 play with a specific team / players, u'll create ur own tourney and go for it.

Career mode will keep you busy for a very long time, and there needs to be a progress to keep it interesting. If you start with Arsenal or Juve etc, it'll be the same thing year after year.

If you start with Division 2 team and progress with ur team or take over some better team after a while, you'll still have long way to go. But if you have it all - as a team - from the start, why should u keep playing?

You continoue to win more and more on world class.

It's not fun to start a unreal tournament with unreal number of teams etc. It should be La Liga, Serie A or Premier League and Champions League it should be the great games in Champions League or Derbys i the league with real formats with games as Real Madrid - Barcelona or Real Madrid - Juventus etc. Thats all mighty and that will make Fifa go far ahead off Konami and PES!

I dont like that Fifa is starting to look more and more like Championship manager.

It should be either Playing football or managing football, not both.

I gotta admit that all the hiring of staff etc puts me off a bit. having this in FIFA 2005 does not interest me in the slightest. I do not wanna manage my team. wanna get on the field and play. i think EA should let you choose which team you wanna be in career mode.

That's completely right Kobashi! Fifa have total club manager for hiring staff and **** why bother with a game where you want to PLAY and FEEL the magic of fotball, the chants the songs the worlds best players!

Hey guys, you dont have to play career mode...it's just there for whoever likes it. Unless what u mean is that their effort and disc space should cover other things missing, like more national teams and leagues, or World Cup etc.

I want to play career mode but with it to base on the real 2005 season, or else the game can be named Fifa 2004 again. Why 2005 if it's not based on the 2005 season?

Champions league for the Champions League qualified teams !!!!

career mode is great! i just wish EA gave us a choice whether we wanna be a top team or start at the bottom
