is it again not aviable until the second season of manager mode even if you start with a 4-5 star team?

just started manager mode last night with man u and didn't see any ECC games scheduled.

You have to qualify with your own exploits, it's a feature that all of the last few Fifa manager or career modes have had.

its not a feature, its a cheap ass, below the belt attempt by ea to force people to play the game for longer, thus increasing gameplay time.

In previous versions, obviously they couldn't rely on their gameplay alone to attract people to keep on playing for a whole year... which i think is unfortunate because in fifa2006 i think they just can

In addition of course, this will improve their sales of their Champions League game.

I think fifa 2006 is a great game (i've played both pes5 and fifa 2006, and i think its more a case of different strokes for different people, rather than of pes5 having overwhelmingly outright better gameplay)... however, bs like this from ea really pisses me off...

I don't want to play a 15 yr season
hell i don't want to be a manager if it affects the team/tournaments i can participate in. There are full fledged manager games out in the market for that

I want to play a football game, with the added advantage of recreated teams AND tournaments of the current season WITHOUT having to play one entire season (at teh end of which i'm bored anyway), and then play the ECC with some swedish 3rd division side in my group
