Denhim please dont blame and just segnalate in CEP forums what should be fixed. Frankly who Luton Shelton is I think that just the Helsinborgs IF know; consider that Scandinavian market has different dates than the rest of europe so most probably the last transfers are missing and you will find them in next version.
Anyway, regarding your PM, we need collaborative suggestions and members while your thumb down shows that you are not interested in this attitude, so thanks a lot but maybe you should help other wide projects interested in Helsinborg chants, updated rosters, flags, kits numbers etc.

I'm so sorry if I was to negative... I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt anyone.
I was just in that time I wrote it really sad because i had been so excited to see this patch... I really want to help you with CEP! I really want to join to help you improve the patch. I can help you like I said in my PM with alot of information! :Bow: I took away the last message.
Ok no problem man, just try to be constructive because we try to work on the suggestions and contribution of every fifa fan but perfection is an objective absolutely impossible. I will personally check a swedish update for next version anyway.

We are already at work for improving the CEP on the basis of your suggestions. Now, there are a bunch of news on the project that I will try to synthetize.
For first, the Downloads page has been updated with the last mirrors and with the first addons of the CEP3.0: the CEP Italian language addon by Fifaccitiu, the CEP Gameplay patch (to make the game harder) and the EA gameplay patch (to go back at any time to the original EA gameplay settings). About the addons we hope to see soon the fruits of a new type of collaboration with the other fifa communities: the excellent Fifa Benelux joined the CEP family with an ambitious and revolutionary project: do the first complete addon patch for CEP. This addon will be a Dutch Addon that will require CEP 3.0 installation and that will add more updated rosters, kits, graphical elements, stadiums and faces for the Dutch leagues! All the editors are the welcome to contact me to experiment this new form of addons for CEP that can focus on single leagues with more detail, and you can find more info in the faqs and the readme included in the CEP installation. Gathering all these addons in the main CEP would be impossible to the fifa.fat limitation (especially regarding the faces), so this is a good away to improve the collaboration with other communities helping the support of CEP with addons exclusive for the member communities.
A new project joined officially the official CEP releases, the CEP Chants Addon created and coordinated by Esterry; you can find details about this addons in the new section of CEP website dedicated to CEP Chants Addon. An huge update has been done by myself to Release and Status sections too, to keep trace of what you can wait in the next months by CEP staff. To summarize into few fords for the Christmas period you will receive the gift of the 3.1 update (details in Release page) that will include a Creation Master Addon for CEP developed with Rinaldo that will allow you to edit the graphical elements, the gui and much many other things of the CEP db. New projects will be disveiled soon while new members are joining, sharing their efforts and talent to improve Fifa 2007. In the meanwhile enjoy the CEP 3.0 together with Kits Addon 4.0 and help us fixing and improving using the CEP forums.

looks like a great patch...but won't be touching it....locking us out of the dB is stupid....
so what exactly will the Creation Master addon let us do?...because I don't create teams or players in game, i use the Db, because it allows me much more freedom to make them how I want....so if this is not going to be available...then this patch is a joke....
This is the freaking internet...if you are so worried about a FREE patch being stolen then go through the proper channels...actually own it...get a copyright on it or something...then nobody can steal it encrypted or not...

Hey, after a fresh install, which deleted all traces of Fifa 07 from my computer; English language still doesnt work with the patch. Its a great patch; I just wish I could read what I was doing in Manager Mode. So if there is any patch or update you could release to address this problem, or any ideas of fixing it I would appreciate it.

The cep should have enough self conscience to know it's the biggest patch around.

This Contra Espionage Patch 2007 is the summum of proof of what the Fifa "community" has become. From the knowledge sharing and helping each other out world with honor and community sense it has turned into a bunch of kids with overgrown egos that consider working on kits, flags, adboards, patches or whatever for a game is as important as saving the world from it's plagues.
Wake up from your dreamworld kids, and start making your stuff not for your own agenda, for your own glorification, and hey, who knows you might even like it and get real recognition for it, instead of the peeps sucking you up, "hey good kit man, now can you make team XYZ?" type of comments and then stabbing you down if you don't consider their requests or even if you don't manage to make them fast enough. Because yes, not only the editors have become egoists, the users too A community is made by everyone, in mutual respect, anyway that's the way it should be.
Older people who tend to criticize this kind of mindstates and behaviour (Jomi, myself,...) get censored and banned or get warnings from moderators who could be their kids in age and also think they are performing one of the most important jobs in the known universe. Sometimes I think renaming these forums would be more appropriate, I have some fitting names, but I won't mention them as they might be considered as offensive. Others simply stick to older games or post very rarely because the new community spirit disgusts them too much. (Yeah, we old farts tend to keep in touch)
Yes, friends, the wonderful fifa community, much like the real world around us, has grown into a world where the "I" or "US" is more important than the community as a whole. Encrypting a free of charge patch for a video game is a sign of paranoia and egoism never seen before.
Because preventing the stealing of the patch contents is only an excuse in my opinion really, it's more someting of : "You're going to play our patch our way, and every modification/correction/addition/enhancement you want to make to it you will be forced to send it to us, and we will take credit for it, or you simply won't make it, got that kids? Because WE made the CEP, and you sure as hell going to listen to US because WE decide the terms.
Also, if someone uses parts of your patch as part of their own, with proper credits given I don't understand what the problem would be (stealing stuff and claiming it their own is of course a different matter and I condemn such behaviour very strongly myself), this would only prove your patch is a great job and other people are admiring the work you put in it, and by publishing their patch referring to yours, give you free publicity and touch a larger public, a larger part of the community. Also keep in mind that most people prefer the original over a copy, I don't see what worries you so much about the copyright, or is it?
But the above paragraph doesn't count for the CEP creators, their stressful dialogue of "Sweetpatch doesn't want their work to be published elsewhere" is a) either a lame excuse or b) you get paid for your work.
Also on a side note, dear moderators, one of my friends, banned from the Fifa forums till 11/10/2006 wished you were as quick to unban someone as you are to ban them, he still hasn't regained his access, but hey, that's not on purpose, right?
Anyway, I'm glad I got that off my chest. If this post made regain some community spirit to just one user or editor then it's purpose is fulfilled. To the CEP creators I can only say : "shame on you for your egocentrism."

I'm sorry if my first post sounded too harsh, I reread it twice, and I thought I sounded a bit like an arrogant teacher, that wasn't the purpose, if I hate something then it's arrogance, lol. it was more meant to be something of a wake up call.
Fortunately not the whole community is like I described it. Fortunately there are some great new guys around also, people that I admire for their work and community spirit, August is but one of them. I wish you guys could spread your great character to contagiate (in a good way) the less community minded people.
I wish I could repost here normaly, without prejudices, to share the stuff I made and am making atm, because despite what I wrote in my first post I sure miss posting here in a "legal" way. I'm sure if some people would set aside their pride it would work out, I have set aside mine a long time ago and am reaching out here, I can't do more than that.
Fortunately not the whole community is like I described it. Fortunately there are some great new guys around also, people that I admire for their work and community spirit, August is but one of them. Reading your post i felt like a coward for always feeling that way but never saying it (apart from some sarcastic remarks). You read stuff in this forum you wouldn't believe. Just one example, Dule collects national team kits in a thread which is very useful, sundsvall said he should post only a link when he found out one of his kits is in that thread. so unbelievably small-minded, fighting for every piece of appreciation they can get.

well isnt the purpose of CEP to increase the realisticness and immersion of fifa 07? certainly a locked DB takes away from that immersion because if you're advanced enough to download and extract CEP, you're certainly advanced enough to want to edit your FIFA game, and without the option (locked db), whats the point?
on another note....is it possible to edit the boots in CEP? because original EA boots were better customized as far as real life player use (not quality of the boots obviously). ... for example, c.ronaldo uses white vapors but in the game he has gold tunits or something like that....is it possible to make that correct?
