Chelsea will play the more out of favor players, but still they're a class team, nothing like reserves. Parker, Cole, Drogba, and I doubt he'll even play Kezman. That's a squad for ya lol. Chelsea have no youngsters to use. But yeah they'll probably win the cup but i'd like to see United's youngsters win it.

Yeah ok man......you say that now you're out ..........demeaning the League Cup is something that Wenger decided to do because he's never had a big enough squad to be able to concentrate on the league and all the cups as well........If he had a strong second string,and judging by the way your players played tonight,he has not, his attitude would be different.Its just a poor excuse he uses because he knows that he cannot afford to compete in all competitions and risk injuries to the players he needs for the league. Well thats ok man.....let him keep putting the kids out.That doesn't mean to say everyone else has to do the same does it?And the reason he puts the kids out aint to blood them or give them experience,although they do get that of course,its because he has nobody else to play for him.So he covers his ass by saying the League Cup aint important......and you lot go along with it..........It dont matter what the competion is .....if you can keep winning then that maintains a confidence throughout the club........and confidence is something that the Arse could do with right now

The league cup is only important for teams that don't regularly make it to European competition. The top 3 teams(regardless of who they are) see this as a hassle and don't want to risk injury. I wonder how you'll feel if Lampard or Robben gets injured in this competition

Henny.....you must be pretty young man........and its only foreign coaches who came here and started that crap.In past years the League Cup was regarded as a worthwhile trophy to compete for....so whats changed?Nothing.....except now we have clubs and fans who think they are too good for it.And if its such a pony competition,why are all the stadiums packed on cup nights?Yeah its a great oppertunity for any small club to play outa their skins and progress, or knock out a bigger club......Hang on.....thats the same as the FA Cup.....so you think thats a waste of time too do you?..........Surely football is about winning things,winning matches,winning trophys.Whatever club you support the principle is the same.....Once you start picking and choosing cup competitions,then your clubs ego has expanded too much.No club should think they are too big or too good to play smaller teams.That is being a snob and elitist.........
