Career Mode Crash After New League

sure i will provide them today in the evening. well, i use moddingway 4.5.3 all in one which contains Azerbaijan national team. Just recently noticed that game crashes while playing tournament and while playing friendly commentary disappears. I checked national team id and it was ok. i did regeneration in cm16 but did not help

I've never used moddingway, but I thought it tended to be pretty buggy and resistant to edits. Can any others confirm/disconfirm this?

I used it for fifa 15 it worked ok. but fifa 16 seems more resistant.

You created a country called "AZER" in the tournament hierarchy. At least as of '15, this didn't work. You can try to delete your tournament and embed it under another existing country to see if that will work instead. Make Azerbaijan under the Turkish league but just don't link the leagues in any way. It may or may not work.

I think this happens because the game does not have any type of commentary or news/print templates for the country you specified. So you crash everytime you try to load that league simply because it goes looking for Azerbaijan news content and commentary that doesn't exist.

That's the only thing that stood out so far.

Keep in mind, this information was relevant for FIFA 15. I'm unsure how well this works for '16.

I would also test this without linking to the champions league or anything else first. I can't tell if you do have it linked into those other tournaments or not. If you do, I would probably scrap what you have and start over.

Undoing changes in CM doesn't always mean you're reverting back to original settings/state. Sometimes irreversible changes are made and you need to reinstall your backup and start over. It's painful. I know. But it is all we got.

I dunno. I thought CM did the newspaper stuff. I never messed with it though.

Are you all set now? League is fixed? Works in Manager Mode?

just forgot to mention it is for fifa 15. i will try with 16 as well. let me check if it works. will let u know

i have changed country ids and its working. it takes a long time to transfer all players from one to another but this is the only solution that i can suggest. so change the id of the nation u want to play with fifa default one. and it will work

I'm glad you found a solution. But I don't think you need to change the ids. You just need to put the tournament under an already existing nation. Much faster solution. Note for others who have a similar problem.

yea its possible. but when u search for young players in career mode it will scout players of the country u r playing under. btw, no i have preseason tournament crash in career mode. any clue on that?

I haven't messed with preseason tournaments at all. Can't say. Sorry.

my loaned players dint return to the club at the end of the season. they are in free agents now..
any help to fix it?

If ur squad is full then they will turn to free agents. It was like this in older fifa versions. I have no idea about 16

Nope,i was having 35players only. including the loaned players.

I gave them new contracts before the season came to an end.
So they had 3-4 years contract left.
