    I'll jump back in...

Okay...I think a lot of us are still out here...although with many other things going on. I'm in the middle of the second season in my two careers...with Bielefeld in the German Bundesliga and Lille in the LFP 1...coming in third in the LFP...with about two months to go and first place in sight...and Bielefeld is tied for first in the Bundesliga. Trying to decide where I'll go with the careers at the end of the seasons....depends on where I come in and transfer possibilities and outside UEFA cups and such...

NY Hits...if you're still looking...two pretty good bets for defenders. Look for replacements for folks like Staam, Ferrari...and other veteran defenders who have retired. Those replacements really come along very quickly. I also have played with Valachovic...either with Grasshoppers or Rapid...sorry I can't remember which...he's a 79...and about 20,000 points or so...very underrated and hard to find...but very good in central defense.

Good luck all and keep us updated.
    Cheers,
    mutiger

Just finished a little playing session with Celtic. I defeated Hibernian and Rangers 2-1 each. I also played out quarterfinals of ECC against Bayern. Zlatan struck 3 times as Celtic lost 4-3, but still went through on away goals. I was knocked outta the Scottish Cup by friggin Dunfermline 3-1(UGH.). I'm prob. gonna switch teams next year, thinking either random Spanish team(barca, real betis, etc) or anything that you guys might suggest.

Well, I ended Celtic season by winning ECC and SPL.
    Goals:
    Klaus(my created player) = 25
    Ibrahamovic - 19
    Gerrard - 15

Switched over to Anderlecht and bought the following players:
    Lahm(Stuttgart)
    Carroll(ManU)
    Kirkland(Lpool)
    Klaus(Celtic)
    Woodgate(Real Madrid)
I wanted about 30 other plays but I was denied every time.

Started out the season by defeating Brugge and then tied a few other teams. In the ECC i was dealt the toughest group, with AC Milan, Barcelona and PSV. I am currently sitting 2nd in the group, with 2 draws, above barcelona due to more goals.

    Super Eagles guy...

I think Valachovic is in his late 20's...he probably won't improve much...which is why I like to get the young replacement guys.

    Cheers,

Just finished up a little playing time with Anderlecht. Currently 8-2-0 in the League, 6 points above Louvieroise. Faced Ac milan in the ECC, won 5-4(Courtesy of a freak goal by woodgate, kicked it off the defender when trying to cross) and also tied PSV 1-1, currently tied for 1st in my group.

    Current Goal Totals:
    Woodgate(Captain) - 7
    Klaus - 7
    Junior - 6
    Baseggio - 4
    Wilhelmsson - 2
    Jbari - 1
    Kompany - 1
    Iachtchouk - 1

    alright here is my update
I am currently in January with Tottenham and my record is 11-9-2
I made it pass the group stages in the Ecc with a double leg journey against chelsea coming up in Febuary
When the transfer window opened up i decided that Wright-Phillips is not the perfect person to play right winger on my team, i looked around the different leagues and decided that Deisler would be the perfect option
Luckily after a few times of offering i got the option of selling Phillips to Bayern and in return i bought Deisler

in scoring my mix and match front line option has been going well with
Keane-21 (a magnificent 4 goal game that i had with him against Chelsea made it special)
    Donovan-17
    Defoe-15
    Smith-12

My midfield has also been producing magnificent goals from outside of the box with
    Gerrard-5
    Cole-7 (6 coming from penalties)
    Ballack- 6 (all free kicks)
    Joaquin-2
Deisler- 0 (he will become a goal scoring threat soon)

My defense and goalie is my biggest problem in the game
i have Maldinis replacement, Terry and Cafu's replacement doing absolutely nothing for me in that category
Heck i even replaced Paul Robinson with Buffon and he cant save a shot for ****
the only good part is the LCB i got from Inter called Lacovic who has a 99 shot accuracy and 95 power which is good when Ballack isnt playing

It may have been said by others earlier but i think the computer is too perfect in this game...
There have been numerous times when i work my ass off to score a goal and two minutes later the opposition, doesnt matter how horrible they are gets one from behind the net...
This ticks me off to another level.

Next update at the end of the season...

I've started a second career as Modena in Serie B. It's not a very deep squad, and there isn't much talent at the team, but I hoped to bring them to promotion. After a few games, we were in the top 5. However, our league form declined and we found ourselves in 16th. From 20 matches, Modena have taken only 21 points with a record of 4-9-7.

In the Coppa Nazionale, Round 2, we beat Brescia 2-1, and then tied 3-3 to win 5-4 on aggregate. In Round 3, we were paired against giants Juventus. They took the first leg, winning 2-1, but Fabrizio Vignarolli provided some hope with a late goal. Bad luck struck as our highest rated striker, Toldo, took a minor injury, which brought the injury list up to one striker and two midfielders. This took a heavy toll on our teams endurance, with many players starting games at 30%. The second leg, at Delle Alpi, was a grueling match with Vignarolli scoring in the 30th minute. However, Juventus came back with two goals before the first half was through. In the end, however, the hero was Manu, the low rated reserve striker who scored twice within 3 minutes to bring the score to 3-2. Modena went through on away goals, and made it to the quarter-finals, where they were paired against AS Roma.

The first leg was at Roma, and Manu and Vignarolli both scored once to create a 2-2 game, until the end when Totti scored a winning goal to make it 3-2 Roma. The return leg was at Modena, and Manu started things off in the 10th minute with a breakaway goal. However, Totti and Cassano both struck to make it 2-1 Roma. Right before the break, Vignarolli snatched one back for Modena to make it 2-2. In the second half, both teams played physically, with Modena looking for the goal that would level the teams in every way possible. Vignarolli came through in the 83rd minute with a brilliant free kick that found the inside of the near post to tie up the aggregate score and the away goals score. It seemed destined to go to extra time, until Chivu misplayed a pass to a defender, which allowed Vignarolli to beat one defender and slot the ball into the net. Modena win the match 4-2, and the aggregate 6-5.

The semi-final will prove to be the biggest task yet, as Modena drew AC Milan. The other matchup is Inter Milan vs Perugia, who are dominating Serie B by 10 points. The next Serie B matchup is against Perugia, who have 48 points from 20 games, at 15-3-2. It is obvious that Modena's goal lies in the Copa Nazionale, rather than the league. Promotion is still possible, but it would be very difficult to achieve.

Perugia played well against Modena, proving that they are the best team in Serie B. They went to a 2-0 lead until the 82nd minute when Manu scored. Manu had the last kick of the game when his shot from distance hit the post and rolled on the line before being cleared by a defender. It was an unlucky break but it was a deserved win for Perugia.

I just completed the Belgian League with 27 wins, destroying Beveren(59 points) with my 86 points.

I defeated Juventus in the ECC Final, after an epic 6-1 2nd leg thrashing of Sevilla in the semis. Woodgate suffered a concussion in the last league game and would not take a part in the final. Baseggio struck in the 49th minute to give Anderlecht the lead and they would not give it up, even after Lahm's red card sending off in the 52nd minute. It could have been an all belgian ECC Final if Brugge had been able to hold off Juventus in the semis.

After that I am set to face Louveriouse(sp?) in the Belgian FA Cup Final.EDIT Won 4-1

    End Of Season Goal Totals:
    Klaus - 26
    Baseggio - 18
    Woodgate(C) - 17
    Wilhelmsson - 17
    Junior - 12
    Lahm - 9
    Iachtchouk - 4
    Vanden Borre - 3
    Kompany - 3
    Kolar - 3
    Jbari - 2
    Wendt - 1

EDIT:Signed With Southampton, Bought Xabi Alonso, Luis Garcia, I. Biscan, A. Robben, Klaus, L. Podolski, Woodgate, Lahm, Carragher and R. Bravo...What a great transfer market :rockman:

EDIT 2. Season started off really slow, 4-4 tie with Manu then another Tie with Bolton and a win against Crystal palace 3-2..Nothing special at all. Then the team erupted for 27 shots(18 on goal) in a 5-2 romp of Man City. Podolski netted a hat trick and Klaus added 2 goals with 3 assists. Then, we faced arsenal and came back from 4-1 down to tie it 4-4, klaus had a hat trick and podolski netted one. Tied Crewe in the League Cup and went through on PK's 3-2.

    Current Goal Totals:
    Podolski - 9
    Klaus - 9
    Xabi Alonso -1

EDIT 3: I finished up a few league matches and currently sit in 4th place with 4 wins, 9 draws and zero losses. We staged a huge comeback against westham down 2-0 in the 70th minute, Podolski and Xabi Alonso struck in the 77th and 80th minute and Klaus hit a scorcher from outside the box in the 89th to win it for Southampton.

    Current Goal Totals:
    Podolski(16 appearances) - 17
    Klaus(16 appearances) - 16
    Xabi Alonso(17 appearances) - 3
    R. Bravo(17 appearances) - 1

EDIT 4: Won League Cup against Middlesburough 4-1...I also defeated Mansfield town in round 5 of the English Cup, 5-0, Klaus had 4 and Podolski had one, which is my largest shutout win on world class. Currently lieing in 4th in League, 3 points off leader.

EDIT5: Won Premier League by 4 points, Won league cup against fulham 3-1. In an earlier game in the league cup against portsmouth, Klaus set up for a shot just a little infront of the half line and it bounced off the post and in, I went nuts.

    Goal Totals:
    Klaus - 45
    Podolski - 36
    Robben - 9
    Luis Garcia - 7
    Xabi Alonso - 7
    Biscan - 6

EDIT 6: Signed with Juventus, Bought Rooney, Podolski and baros.

    Anyone still playing?

I guess most of you guys are away on holiday...or waiting for FIFA 2006...but I've decided to update you guys on my two careers...

After working my tail off to come in second in France with Lille and Germany with Arminia Bielefeld...but with no trophies...I decided it was time to go back if possible to clubs where I could dominate. I was lucky enough in one instance to be offered Rangers...and Ajax in another. So...since I figure to only spend one year in each place...I sold most of the younger players at both clubs to raise funds for transfers. In Ajax's case I decided to add a left winger...so I went after several of the best before finally settling on Kiki Musampa of Man. City. Ajax is in the group stage of the Champions League...in a group with AC Milan, Lyon, and Manchester United. Can you say group of death? I'm 1-0-1 in that group...but have a one point lead after 10 league games ahead of AZ Alkmaar. So many strikers on this team...I'm thinking of selling a couple at the January window and bringing in some more mid fielders. I did purchase Robbie Savage for the center of my midfield to play in behind Van der Vaart who's playing a wicked CAM. Savage is also scoring a lot of goals as well.

At Rangers, I sold most of the younger and lower rated players...but this team using Jomi's roster is absolutely loaded!!! I have four strikers rated 80 or better. But I decided to get greedy...and with my amassed riches went out for another striker...many turned me down. Even Heskey from Birmingham. So...I made an offer for the other Birmingham striker...Pandiani...who is higher rated then Heskey...and Pandiani accepted. So I have all these studs up front...and in a 4-3-1-2 alignment...I have Buffel and Arveladze switching off at CAM also running riot. I then decided I needed a better second string left wing behind Lovenkrands...Djordjic wasn't getting the job done...so I scoured the Brazilian league and came up with a young kid named Adriano who's a 77 and about 23 or 24. Very useful guy. Rangers is in the group stages of the UEFA Cup in a group with Roma, Olomouc, and Viborg. I have a weird deal in this career where about every ten games or so...I am forced to simulate about three games...so I've started slowly in the Cup...and have been forced to simulate a Celtic loss in league play...but I'm still top after about 12 games...by a point over Celtic. So my plans for league dominations and silverware seem to be going as planned. If anyone is looking forf a good club to start a career with and you have Jomi's roster update...take Rangers...they are really awesome and have two good strings of players at least!

So that's it for now...looking forward to hearing again from the rest of you guys!

    Happy summer!

    Cheers,
    mutiger

Nj tiger, hope you rack up some trophies..
Heh, I just didn't wanna keep editing that last post of mine if no one was gonna reply..

Currently 9 points ahead of AC Milan in the Seria A with Juventus. In the ECC I have drawn Celtic(ohhhh) in the Semi's. In the Coppa Nazionale, my run has been nothing short of absolutely ridiculous. After a first leg 7-5 victory over Firenze(world class is becoming a goal fest.), I absolutely demolished them with a 7 Goal performance by Milan Baros and 2 goals added by Podolski in a 9-3 thrashing. I face Lazio in the semis.

    Current Goal Totals(through 45 games)
    Baros- 47 goals(holy..)
    Podolski - 36
    Rooney - 18
    V. Lokvenc - 9
    Kapo - 8
Delpierre - 7 (no, not del piero.)

since i have not updated in a long time, after i made those changed my team was able to control the English Cup, the Champions League and the Premiership to take the Treble. Seing that there was nothing wrong with my system i decided to use my money that i saved up and purchase Alliadere from Arsenal and Armand from PSG for a little extra in case of anything. This proved to be the key as I was able from the begining of the next season to dominate the Premiership.

By midseason I had went undefeated in Premiership, won the League Cup and was in the Knockouts of the ECC against Sparta Prague (not a challenge). Still saving money I did not purchase any players during the transfer market and keep moving along.
After thrashing Sparta Prague I faced Newcastle in the next stage (won on penalty kicks) , faced Intermilan and then beated Valencia in the Finals.
All that was left was to maintain a perfect Premiership record and prepare for my English Cup final against Arsenal.
Sadly my only lost of the season came in the end of the season in a 3-2 lost against Man. United. Could not help the cheesy goals from happening.
In the English Cup Final I was able to destroy Arsenal by 4-0 and completed 4 trophies in a year (but i actually won the Supercup and the Community Shield)

With all of the challenges from the Premiership finally completed i decided to move to Roma for a change of scenery and also i can get more points to buy more unlockables.
The changes i have made was that i sold some of the older players except for Totti, brought in Beckhams replacement from the Portuguese League (somehow Madrid sold him), Pires replacement and Ashley Cole from Arsenal, Stams replacement from Ac Milan, Hleb from Stuggard (sp?), Shawswentegier from Bayern and Kapo from Jueventus.

I have decided to play a different strategy with Roma than what i did with Tottenham.

    Cassano
    Totti------------- Hleb
    Pires (replacement)------------- Beckham (replacement)
    De Rossi-----Shawsweinstager
    Cole--------Stam (replacement)-------Ferrari
    Goalie

so far this has prove to be effective since Roma is 2-2-0 in the league and only have allowed 1 goal which should have been called offsides against Lazio. I purposely lost in the ECC qualifiers against VFL Bouchum so i can play in the ECC (Since i want those precious upgrade points.

Also I am a three star coach with my finance and fitness maxed out, scouting at 5, defense and midfielder at 2 and everything esle except for Medical at 1. Most likely i will be upgrading midfield and defense in the span of 2 upgrades for every one upgrade to another category.
