Typical fanboy comments. The REAL PES gamers who have played FIFA all admit that it's a good game, not up to PES/WE standards but a definite improvement. The fact you says it's nothing like football is like saying a dog is nothign like an animal. Of course it freaking is! It might not be as realistic in many ways as PES but to say it's nothing like football is just basically saying "I'm a chavvy fanboy who wants to influence people by talking generalized crap".
It all depends on the definition of "nothing like football". Sure, Fifa 07 has a pitch with 22 players who shoot a ball around trying to score. In that sense it IS like football. Being (what you refer to as) a REAL PES gamer myself, i've tried the full game of Fifa 07 and played more than a couple of matches in it. And IMHO the term "nothing like football" almost comes into play because of the following reasons:
- Performance issues (PC-related im sure, but im on a high-end system with quality hardware - and the fact that EA cant even make a game playable on many systems without the user having to adjust files himself....makes it unplayable for the common user thus living up to the "nothing like football" term)
- Lack of realism (having a high-end graphics card and a powerful computer overall, the graphics are simply disappointing to me. Also the gameplay-related things lack realism, it simply just looks wrong playing the game IMO)
I prefer playing the pre-2004 versions of Fifa and im disappointed that here in 2006, EA continues to screw up elementary things in their games. Just the fact that many people get the DirectX9 is not installed error when trying to install......amateurs!

If you hate FIFA then don't play it. I don't like the Final Fantasy games but I don't really care to educate the world on that fact. People can download the FIFA demo for themselves and see whether t's good or bad. Listening to a teenage chav who has posted the same comment 20 times in the last week about the game won't influence anybody to do anything. You seem to forget that we all want PES6 to be awesome and to be 20 times better than FIFA. We all just want the best game regardless of which company produces it. I hope PES6 is miles ahead of anything EA ever produce but so far that's looking unlikely.
I mostly agree. Demos rarely represent the full gameplay/graphics so if a demo is bad, chances are still that the full game will be better.

Get over the "I hate FIFA" rant, it's neither convincing (as in I know for a fact you haven't done anything other than load the demo, it ran crappy on your PC so you played half a game then deleted it) or helpful to people who want to know what Konami have done with PES6. FIFA being good or bad doesn't reflect on whether PES6 will be good or bad. FIFA 07 could be the owrst game in existence but that doesn't help us if PES6 is poor.
I can actually understand the ranting from time to time. EA has been in the sports-business many years and previously made good football games. BUT...they seem to rush things lately, thereby ending up releasing pretty much updates to previous years games. I could only see few gameplay-related updates from 2006 to 07 (ball physics for example). And fact is, EA screwed up the installation, they screwed up the performance requiring ppl to fiddle with file-settings - and they've focused too much on the Xbox 360 version it seems. They did/do the same with the Tiger Woods 07 release. Same gameplay, a bit better graphics, a minor updated GUI and a new packaging. Easy money it seems :/
