I just got FIFA, instllation won't run at all on my PC. I'm running the Origin setup and when I click continue, it simply does nothing.
Is this a known thing? Don't see any help on the EA Forums?

Any help would be great. Thanks!

It runs in the background in Origin.

Look at the install path for the files.

I'm getting error 0xc000007b every time i try to run install. I simply can't install it. Can't uninstall the FIFA 16 demo either, I get a note about it being corrupted somehow.

remove it manually.

Delete all the files in the directory then remove the registry entries.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\EA Sports
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Games

Find the FIFA 16 Demo keys and delete them then restart your PC.

Ok, tried that. Same problem. Although, there were definitely registry entries to delete.
It starts to install Origin and then I still get...
OriginClientService.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.
Any thoughts?

I mean you could try this and reinstall Origin first, and then try installing FIFA.

Ok, I'll have a go. I'm a bit confused, I thought installing FIFA already involved installing Origin. (...this Origin business is annoying)

Ok. Tried that. Still crashed with the same error.
I can't believe this is so difficult. How can they possibly not provide support for this or foresee this and give possible troubleshooting on their site?

What OS are you running and is it 32 or 64 bit ?

You do know this is a 64 bit game and will most likely not install on a 32 bit OS.

I also suggest restarting your PC and going into safe mode with networking if your machine is 64 bit
and attempting to install that way.

Windows 7 64-bit. I'm runnning a Radeon R9 200 with 16GB of system RAM. AC Unity and Watchdogs flow beautifully on High on this system. Physically running the game isn't the problem.
Safe mode with networking I've not tried. But the actual installation won't even run.

Like I said, restart your machine and try in safe mode.

So safe mode would be just to do the actual install and then reboot back to normal mode to run it? Is that the idea?
