Cannot get into online mode

Every time I try to get into the online menu Pro Evo comes up with a message "Play aganist another player on the lan" when I press" confim it just returns me to the main menu how do I get to the online menu?

i've got the exact same problem, on a network.
first i couldn't connect as client or host. then a week later i get the lan message.

my flatmate recently bought the game and gets to the Host/client problem but can at least get into online area.

i tried a fresh install using his cd, but i still get this lan message :/

frustrating thing is it wont even let us play on the LAN :D

That happened on my borthers, did a "network setup wizzard" and next time PES worked fine...

(it was only him and his router though so probably less fussy. )
