Ok, way back when 07 was released there was a thread and it told how to edit a file so kits didn't get all blurry from far away. Anyone know the fix? I've tried looking for the thread but I can't find it.

Blurry kits

Do you mean the depth of field effect (DOF) or the level of detail (LOD) effect?
DOF is the effect which blurs the distant objects ie those not in focus during replays .
LOD is a setting which can force more detail at distance so there are no disappearing numbers or hair etc.
I have the fixes for both here, just let me know which one you need.

i've never seen this entry before in those files but thanks because that really helps to improve how the game-look-like (as never before)

You may have it in your gameplay but the tweak was discovered before you even started making the gameplay.

how do u guys find out those strings? coz it's not found in the default file. is there any more string that is not being used that can be used in fifa07?

you extracted every strings on the exe....the 70% are relative on the animation, and other on the gameplay that are in.
But i've found some time ago 2 string:
FORCE_TO_PLAY_LIKE_STAR_DBID = 1
FM_ANISOTROPIC = 1
