best way for those with mx

i have an mx440, and it runs almost perfectly with the omega drives set to performance (omegacorner.com). Get those, and dont bother with the patch, it just slows things down on every resolution. I think Konami's idea was to fix the hyperspeed problem by adding slowdown lol, ah kinda sad, but well have to deal with it. Twiddle with the resolutions until you find the perfect one (because the omega drivers will make it faster ... so there'll be a perfect resolution/detail quality for everyone)

When you install the drivers, it'll give you the option in the install if you want the drivers to focus primarily on performance, or on quality. I chose performance with a 2.53 mhz computer and a geforce 4 mx 440, and it helped. And the drivers you should get if you have a nvidia card is , go to the side bar and hit nvidia gf, then in that same sidebar choose either if you have xp/2000, or 98,95,ME operating systems, the download screen should then pop up. Get the v1.4523a drivers

I couldn't get the 1.4523a driver as the first website doesn't allow me to (don't know why) and it's not there in the German website.
I got the 1.4523 which improved the performance slightly but if the 1.4523a is better then would someone please post another link for it?

I've AS and AF off in the driver's settings, and i get very minium slowdown on the lowest resolution and on 800 x 600 it slows down quite a bit but i can still enjoy it

Hey Danny, I've bought the DOUBLE SPEED option from PES-SHOP, without having downloaded those Omega Drivers (I like having only the Official ones from Nvidia) and now I can play it with no slow motion (at 640x480, full screen, low details - Haven't tried any other resolutions/detail settings).

Try the new forceware drivers mentioned in the other thread. I was using the doublespeed thing also and decided to try the drivers. The game "feels" better when I don't have to use doublespeed......

my gf3 cooked itself last week and now im waiting to get a 9600xt when they come out here in oz.i got a mx 440 and u cant play anything with it.having to lower gfx settings all the time
its not worth it
if ur serious about playing games on ur pc.go by a new card or dont bother.stop making threads about it ffs.i got pes3 but i gotta be paitent.cause its not worth ruining with double speed options and all this other bs

Ok i have worked out the best way for geforce 4 mx owners.

Download these omega drivers. Remember to select performance based.

Get 1000 points in training which is not very hard.

Enablel the double speed option from the PES shop using your 1000 points.

Then in settings change to 900x720 (something like that, the one after 800 x 600)

Choose high quality.

Now when you play games put it on double speed and it runs perfectly!

Still slight slowdowns in box but you will hardly notice it.

The only problem is the cut scenes are verrrryy slow, but who cares about them, they just get very repetitive.
