whats the best platform to get FIFA 2005 on? last year i got it for xbox but you cant add or change anything to the game (like kits). but the upside to xbox is the better graphics(my computer's specs arent that great). so should i go for it on PC or xbox? also will online play be available for xbox?(i know this question might have been asked already but why not put it in here with the other question.)

i liked fifa's on PC up until 2003 when they started commin out on xbox. xbox is better for, say, if u and some mates wanted to play some multiplayer. much easier than four ppl sitting around ur PC. i just played the PC demo and was really good. if ur into modding the game then go PC but for fun go xbox. (unless ur reeeally concerned about the nets or kits or sumthing)

in case that didnt make sense my vote is xbox

another vote for xbox, it will be amazing on xbox live with the headset. nice smooth framerate and goreous 480p widescreen graphics in dolby digital 5.1 the crowds will sound awesome with my 500 watt powered jbl subwoofer a thumpin.

Xbox I think unless you have a real good PC or want to patch it a lot. Just looking at the videos of the Xbox version it just looks better than anything my PC produces. The lighting on the Xbox version seems terrific.

no doubt PC because you can't updates your console but you can do it on your PC. if you PC specs is hot. no way console can compare with it, unless you wait until PS3 or XBOX2 come out

go to check out the alienware gaming pc set. all of them are hot :rockman: i don't think the current console can compare with them. mostly console now are a bit outdated in term of hardware technology

actually u can update your console. xbox allows roster updates etc and regularly has updates for most sports games.

although you are right, there are no mods like the pc, if that's what you were talking about.

u made the right decision with the xbox tho

again, xbox can be "patched" as well. all their sports games usually get roster patches. i think what some of you mean is "mods".

I understood that the xbox has a harddrive of 8gb and if it has a hard drive you should be able to load utils on to it to change things in the game. perhaps i'am wrong.

As far as i know, u can only use patching with rewriting the game disc with the additions you want (also need modchip). No idea about the Xbox tho, but unless you install the game in the hd, how can u make mods?

PS2 here ... we do have an HDTV with a s-video cable, so it looks great.

Another benefit of the console version over the PC version is kicking back on the couch instead of having to sit in front of the computer screen!

I prefer console version, GC in my case because of I own one because of other games anyway, but there is the bonus of the FAB controller... It really helps the gameplay, Its nearly the perfect controller, the GC one... Although lack of intetnet play isnt helpful :kader:
