Beckham's in the crowd!

i was playing as england and scored wit owen.

the cutsceen was when it shows the player run off then the crowd in their seats jumping up and down.

what i noticed in the crowd was david beckham. exact hair too.

anyone else seen anything like this?

could just be EA making it look like supporters who copy the players, but it was the exact model of the player?

well when the fans jump up in that cut scene sometimes the person on the right of the screen has a captains armband on and sometimes they're not wearing the same colour shirts as your team

Well in FIFA 2003, Damiano Tommasi was in the crowd! Pretty funny. His face was quite distinguishable and same with his hair.

I remember seeing Henry is the Fifa 2003 crowd. There were quite a few players in the crowds last year.

Same here! However, I'll have PES3 (and FIFA) next week; so I'll use FIFA 2004 for online play. It's a great arcade game- but not much more. :/
Let's be honest here, EA Sports put much more effort into NHL/NFL etc.- FIFA's just a sideline. NHL 2004 is a tremendous game- it even has a 20 year GM 'Dynasty Mode'. It's such a complete game, and has some great music tracks. Perhaps EA should 'allow' Konami to acquire the FIFA Licences. Jeez, EA have held them for about 8 or 9 years now (maybe more??)!

The amount of money I've spent on FIFA games!! LOL
At last, some competition on the PC.

I hope FIFA 2004 can be played via direct IP! :<

I think the reason EA does puts more into Madden and NHL, at least in the US, is they sell massive numbers. And they also have had 15 years the develop Madden, and 12 for NHL. But thats just my guess.

You're correct, actually. Madden sells millions, up millions and millions of units in the USA only, that is why EA puts so much emphasis into the Madden series.
