Beckham football´s biggest earner

According to a France Football survey, David Beckham the 28 year old english captain is the game´s best payed player in the world.
David Beckham had a total income of 22,4 m €, which includes 6,4 m € from his Real Madrid Salary, 11,4 m € from publicity contracts, 3 m € income from his autobiography and 1.5 m € from his Asian continent tour.
The list of the world top 10 football earners, includes 5 Real Madrid players. Ronaldo comes 2nd with 16,5 m €, Zidane is 3rd with 14 m €, Raul is 7th ( 9,3 m €) and last but not least 10th Luis Figo with a total income of 8,5 m €.

Heres the list with the top 10 biggest earners this season, according to an article to be released tomorrow by France Football:

1º David Beckham (Real Madrid)- 22,4 m €

2º Ronaldo (Real Madrid)- 16,5 m €

3º Zidane (Real Madrid)- 14 m €

4º Christian Vieri (Internazionale)- 11,1 m €

5º Del Piero (Juventus)- 10,1 m €

6º Ronaldinho (Barcelona)- 10 m €

7º Raul (Real Madrid)- 9,3 m €

8º Michael Owen (Liverpool)- 9,1 m €

9º Oliver Kahn (Bayern Munchen)- 8,8 m €

10º Luis Figo (Real Madrid)- 8,5 m €

Being on that list doesnt have to mean a good thing

If a player from your team is on that list I would actually get worried

With the exception of Raul and Del Piero, the others will keep on asking for money and may cause the club huge financial problems

I doubt Beckham has the highest wages in football. I know Italian clubs pay even more than English or Spanish clubs. Beckham just makes a ****load of money from sponsordeals and adverts. Can't blame him for that, he's just playig the game right way.
