Be Cool will hit theatres tomorrow and I for one cant wait. i will definitely be heading out to watch it. looks like pure genius. this will be the first time ive gone to a opening night in years so it should be good

I watched it on Tuesday and liked some parts of it, others were kinda boring.
Travolta is boring in fact. and Uma is boring except her first seminaked scene which was totally hot.

The Rock and Christina Millian were the best and then Vince Vaughn though he has the easiest part: a white music manager who thinks he's black. easy laughs.

The Rock looks mighty hot in this fllick. I wouldn't mind mounting him with that new do of his.

BTW, what a sweet mustard base on Uma, man. I definitely have to catch this flick for her sweet ass and for The Rock aswell.

Get Shorty completely passed me by, it's only recently I realised that Be Cool is the sequel. I guess I'll have to watch Get Shorty then. Is it any good?

to me this movie kicks off the 2005 season. I got through two months of mediocrity, and now the greats will come.

Uma Thurman and John Travola (the stars) seem to be the only thing that could bring this movie down, the supporting cast looks great. Well except for the annoying Cedric The Entertainer who's playing same role he does in every other movie.

same happened to me. Ive never seen Get Shorty nor Ive ever heard anything good about it.
and it was funny cause we were waiting to get into the theater with some friends and we were talking about get shorty and none of us had seen it and then someone said "If Get Shorty was any good then this would've been called Get Shorty 2." good point.

but no, Be Cool is a half sequel to Get Shorty, cause only the main character is back, and some of his backstory. but the story has nothing to do with the first one.

I'm not a big fan of Get Shorty so I probably won't like it despite the star studded cast.

the critics didnt like old school either. When it comes to comedies, i could care less what Roger Ebert thinks. (as the movies arent directed at his age demographic)

just got back from "Be Cool" and i got to say i was pleased

it was a good movie, i was expecting more laugh out loud comedy but it ended up having much more of a plot and the plot was good (dont get me wrong this movie had many hilarious parts and alot of funny characters)

all in all, i wont tell any funny parts, so people who havent seen it will have it ruined for them, but lets just say vince vaughn has many classic lines in this one

I actually think that Rogert Ebert's review is spot on. he complains about the comedy being too easy here. like having The Rock playing a bodyguard, that's typecasting. but ok, he's gay here so it's saved.
but Harvey Keitel plays what he always plays and the same for Cedrick The Entertainer.

Well, i saw this movie tonight, what a huge disappointment. Like Modena said, i was expecting a lot more laughs, but the plot wasnt interesting enough to make up for it.

It was just flat out boring for long stretches at a time, most notably the scenes involving Uma Thurman and Travolta. Too much (and way too long long) singing scenes with Milian, shes hot but there's about 1000 other women that sound like her, relax.

So, the main characters were very bad, but at least the supporting characters made the movie watchable.

The Rock, Vince Vaughn, Andre 3000 and Cedric (surprisignly) were all pretty funny, though there wasnt enough of them.

I haven't see it yet, but I will. Looking forward to Andre 300's performance, and maybe a little bit at Uma too.
