LCL. Most players suffering these injuries are send to the United States, probably Lahm, too.

Probably ACL since that's the most detrimental injury and also very common for soccer players. I remember someone on my soccer team blew out his ACL and wasn't completely the same for a year and a half. It's really a devastating injury because even when you can run on the knee at full speed, whenever there's a challenge you are tentative.

"Vorderes Kreuzband" should be Lateral collateral ligament but I'm not a Biology expert.

Ok, well that shouldn't be as bad either of the other injuries, but of course still bad. I think it's definitely a good thing that it's the ligament attaching the femur to the fibula instead of the tibia. And apparantly it doesn't have much to do with the actual knee, so that's a BIG relief. I'm sure a Lateral Cruciate Ligament injury is no where near as brutal of an injury as an ACL or PCL injury. He'll probably back after the winter break and 100% in a year I suppose, based on no medical knowledge of course, just from what I know about sports knee injuries.

Hoeness has stated that Bayern won't spend more than 6 M on new players. The team is good enough to be a CL contender, only two new CBs are needed. Lucio's former Bayer Leverkusen teammate Juan is apparently a transfer target. Van Buyten will stay at HSV.

Great game today. Sucks that Bremen got a Cl spot, I feel that Herta and Stuttgart deserved it more. But as long as Bayern is champions, it doesnt really matter. Highlights please Awax!

I'm happy that Bremen made it. They are more experienced than Berlin and Stuttgart and should make it out of the group stage. Schalke will be our main rival next season so it's better they play CL.

Carrager and Gerrard would really disagree with you. We need a CB and Gerrard is pure class. I would give Hargreaves and Ze Roberto (Roma has interest in him) for Gerard any day.

The same 'experienced' team that allowed 11 goals in 2 games against Lyon? I would have prefered Shtutgart, because i want their NT players to get some international experience.

They beat Valencia and Anderlecht twice in the group stage. Lyon was the lack of experience, this won't happen again.

There won't be too many nt players left at Stuttgart. Lahm is gone, Kuranyi is also on his way out, maybe to Schalke.

Yeh I agree, Ballack is better than Gerrard, except Gerrard has better shooting choices sometimes, unlike ballack who occasionally shots 30 straight over the bar.
