Ballack's new "look", ..........sportin' that "Beckham" style??

http://www.spiegel.de/sport/fussball/0,1518,429975,00.html

have you been following the Chelsea / Gallas story (No-Show in Los Angeles) and Ballack gettin #13?

Fox Soccer News showed a highlight of a Dortmund/Bayer-Munich game from 2004 yesterday which showed after an alleged bad call of one of the ref's ....Kahn & Ballack were protesting and on the verge of gettin' "red Carded". If I'm correct in the date and circumstance of that game .....does someone have a link that i can re-watch it online?

Magath's planning on switching to a 3-5-2 soon once Lucio and Ismael are fit again.

Lucio - van Buyten - Ismael

This means Sagnol and Lahm would play a bit more offensive minded=more crosses from the wings. I see Schweinsteiger in a more central position.

And I heard Bayern rejected Man United's €20M bid for Hargreaves during the RVN transfer talks. It seems Owen was their first choice ahead of Carrick.

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long

Makaay had a chance in the first half (25th minnute?), had he pulled the trigger, but hesitated instead.

Werder Bremen - FC Bayern 2:0 (1:0)
Bayern: Kahn - Sagnol, Lucio, van Buyten, Lahm (46. Ottl) - Karimi, Hargreaves, Santa Cruz, Schweinsteiger (46. Salihamidzic) - Podolski (46. Dos Santos), Makaay

Bremen: Wiese - Owomoyela, Fahrenhorst, Naldo, Womé - Jensen (77. Andreasen), Frings, Diego, Schulz (81. Vranjes) - Klose (60. Hunt), Klasnic

Goals: 1:0 Klasnic (29.), 2:0 Klasnic (66.)

boy, that's the third game in a row without scoring a goal. Klose looked like he's at 100% again. The league's gonna be interesting this year, in fact, I'm more worried about Bremen dominating it.

This is bad. Werder and Hamburg have spent that last two seasons accumulating talent while Magath has been sitting on his hands and hoping we stay on top. Guess which strategy works better

If we finish third I would not be surprised to see Magath out the door.

bring in Rensing NOW Kahn is a legend indeed but he's over the top. Rensing, Podolski, Lahm are the foundation of the new and young Bayern build on that. The friendly in Japan was a tragic mistake which made the team very tired despite what Magath may have posted. This "Robbie WIlliam" talk is just NONE SENSE and a tired distration to what is the core issue with our team.

Starting XI
I was so disgusted with the Bayern team against Werder Bremen today (besides Hasan). He was everywhere thru the left flank and gave the defenders a headache. It sucked to watch him at times in the match because he would try his best to build up something but the forwards would do Carlos sh!t to try and score (instead of running they would walk!!). I'm disappointed especially with Makaay (I think time is catching up with him), Dos Santos (useless thruout the whole game, he has no stamina like Vince said in the past, everytime he would try to score if would be his horrible finishing skill or offside call), Karimi is NOT A STARTER material imo :(. I don't think Kahn is the problem, what this BAYERN team lacks is a TRUE CM. I hope Magath decides to try this front formation. Bayern never found a replacement for Ze Roberto/Ballack (both can play CM).

Santa Cruz(lacks finishing but with time he can master at feeding the ball to the front 2)/Pizarro (he does like to help start up play in the midfield)

Pizarro/Makaay-Podolski

I think Deisler or Basti should play as the CM.

I dislike the idea of a 3-5-2 very much. If anything we should try out a 4-3-3!

Kahn
Lahm-van Buyten-Lucio-Sagnol
Demichelis
Hargreaves
Podolski
Schweinsteiger-Pizarro-Deisler

I like that formation, especially with Santa Cruz, Makaay, dos Santos, Karimi, Brazzo, and Ismael comming off the bench. We need to go to the Dutch formation, that's what our team is currently built for. We need to have Demichelis and Hargreaves both in the game! And not as defenders or wingers!!!

Youth Team
Hey guys, i saw Daniel Van Buyten using Puma boots when playing for Bayern, is the "All Bayern Players Must Wear Adidas" tradition over?

ShiftyPowers

Make America Great Again
I did not know of such a rule, but if he had a personal sponsorship deal with Puma before comming to the club, they may have made an exception for him.

WHY DIDN'T WE BUY KOMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :( :(

I'm getting very sad right now. German soccer is getting a lot better, but our team seems like it cannot keep up with the pack.

According to our spokesman there's still a Man United bid for Owen on the table, more than 20 million euros.
Ribery wants to leave Marseille. Hoeness, Rummenigge, get your asses to the next airplane to France with 30 million in the back NOW :(

That was to be expected after a 20 hour flight to Japan, attending a Robbie Williams concert and half the starters lacking training sessions though. Magath said they thought they wouldn't get past Schalke in the first place. The first weeks into the season are gonna be ugly.

I see most of you Peruvian guys over at bigsoccer want Pizza to leave Bayern because the club is not good enough for him. :chew:

Bayern Munich move for Lazio's Behrami
tribalfooball.com - August 06, 2006

Bayern Munich are set to move for Lazio midfielder Valon Behrami.
The Switzerland international is wanted by Bayern after talks for Juventus midfielder Mauro Camoranesi stalled last week.

Werder Bremen and Hamburg have also expressed interest in Behrami, who admitted during the World Cup he fancied a move to the Bundesliga should Lazio be demoted over the Calciopoli scandal.

Hmm currently just about any midfielder would improve our team. He's a versatile player that can play as a fullback and as a winger on both sides.

Red Card [Being a douche] exp. 22/1/06
God am i getting tired of getting banned for no reason or nwhat. :kader:
I see things have not changer, peruvians still want Pizarro out couse the team is apparently not 'worthy' of hi. I would really laugh my posterior off ih he ends up at any midtable spanish team without CL football.

We need a center midfirlder depserately. I would love to have Behrami in out team since he has Albanian roots as i do. :D but i would pass him away if we had a chance to get Ribery he is just too good.

Kahn is done, i mean sadly i think he should step down and let Rensing play, or Timo anyone? :fool:

Werder looks impresive. Diego has fit in just magically. I think we should watch him as a potential playmaked. Poldi dissapointed me thi time too much staticism for being him.
Van Byuten need time to adjust, and honestly i think we did well to take him over Kompany he is big and mature, reminds me of Anderson. Too bad no one around reminds me of Effe. :(
