ATI Card Stuttering

I have an ATI Raedon HD 4600 series with a gig of ram.

The game is UNPLAYABLE at all settings.

Any advice?

I've had pretty sever problems. I turned everything down and can play two games in a row before it crashes. Sux. I adjusted my Catalyst control center too. I have a Radeon HD 4200 series.
