the final wasn't the best match ... but this "all the players played dirty" is an equivocal statement, because it lacks definition ... like I said before, there is a difference between sledging and violence ... if Matrix and Mario sledged Roma to provoke a reaction (and it is still an "if", because there is no verifiable evidence that you can point at through the video coverage we watch on television), it is still not OK to lash out with violence ... you let the football do the reacting, or not ... and apparently Totti, in addition to disgracefully kicking Balotelli, racially insulted him too ... those actions, combined, need verbal and legal chastising from the FIGC ... the same cannot be said of any Inter player in that final ... that's the difference ...

Nevertheless, Inter is playing the most effective football on Earth and that's a fact too. I've always said that style doesn't matter as long as you win.

You can play beautiful and so on, but if you don't win then what's all that for? But if you can combine those things together that's good for you and your fans.

I love Totti as a player, and have followed his and Roma's matches closely since he impressed me at EURO 2000 ... where did you think I started watching Cassano closely too? he and Totti were beyond magical as a duo at the height of their friendship ...

I just think that what happened in the final was inexcusable from Totti ... and players like Perotta and Taddei and even Riise seconds before the final whistle were purposefully stomping on players after the ball had gone or flying into tackles with raised feet due to frustration as the match wore on ... even Philippe Mexès, one of my favourite defenders in the world, gave Materazzi a few punches ... and Matrix, like the moron he is, made an absolute meal of it ... but it doesn't excuse the frustration from the Roma players coming out in violent bouts ... Totti was the worst of them, but he wasn't alone ... that was my point all along ...

as for Serie A on the whole, there are a few teams and a few managers I think have an excellent attacking mentality, and have moulded some unique and attractive outfits ... Mazzarri with Napoli, Del Neri with Samp, Gasperini with Genoa in previous seasons, and best of all Prandelli with Fiorentina (who I rate highest amongst these Italian managers, despite the second half of the season going quite badly for the Viola) .... all those teams have a lot of classy players (Cassano, Miccoli, Hamšík, Lavezzi, etc. etc.), who are a lot of fun to watch ...

that's exactly what he thinks, not me ... he's stupid to resist any constructive advice, and has been extremely stubborn ... yeah, he's faced a lot of adversity and extraordinary circumstances in his personal life, but he's fabricating into perceived adversity in the world of football ... and incidents such as that with Totti -- an Italian talisman and someone who should be setting an example -- doesn't help change his attitude, because he thinks it reinforces his stance ... Super Mario is young, and it is his youth that is keeping this stubborn ... when it clicks for him mentally -- and it really is up to him -- then he will quickly climb to amongst the top 2-3 players in the world ...

well, you don't know Balotelli personally, so I'm assuming you hear about him through TV / newspaper ... but you forget that this is the age of the internet, and anything printed on a paper is published online ... and there are tons of channels online to watch Italian TV ... we all know he is being a silly kid ... but kicking him and allegedly swearing at him in a racist way is not going to help him ...

I think there's a difference between ethnicity and country of birth meaning nationality and citizenship.

Balloteli may be italian citizen and italian national but he's not of italian ethnicity and I think this is what he's referring to.
