Arsenal, the Pride of London - 2016/2017 Season

Oh and tits.
So we signed Mustafi and Lucas Perez. Loaned out Chambers to Midbro, Joel to Sporting, Wilshere on his way to CP too,Zelalem to Bolton and selling Gnabry to Werder.

I only accepted Joel going out because Gnabry could break through. This is ridiculous. Spuds sell Mason, Chadli and all the other clubs sell for ludicrous amounts for average players. Yet we have to resort to loaning or giving away for nothing if we don't want em.

Highly unlikely but if we could get in another attacking midfielder or winger of high quality, this is a great summer. Its been really good still. Strongest spine in ages and no apparent squad holes. And long term, all we need to do now is get a few top players in the next few windows and replace underperformers.

Roma, Milan and Valencia too. Not shocking at all. He is despite the injuries a very good player. Most likely will go to Crystal Palace as far as my sauces been saying.

CP would have a pretty strong team. Only area they haven't strengthened much would be fullbacks and CBs. Benteke, Remy, Cabaye, Mandanda, Zaha, Puncheon, Dann, Townsend, Sako, Joe Ledley and possibly Wilshere and Rincon is pretty great for a shit club.

Wilshere to Roma seems to be the hottest story - guess their theory is that if they have two CMs who are prone to long term injury (him and Strootman) the odds are against them both being injured at the same time. Or in favour of it.

Last time they took a punt on an English player it didn't go so well. Still I hope this and Hart to Torino goes through because I like to see Brits go abroad.

I suppose Roma could've used a player like him, he's a bit similar to Pjanić when it comes to playing abilities (also position-wise in the middle of the park) and they haven't properly replaced him. Also playing in Italy would have helped in regards of his development as a player I suppose, which could benefit the national team as well, so "what a shit, cowardly move" is a perfect way to put it.

Bournemouth are gonna have a pretty tough season and it will be very difficult to excel there, and even if he does it's bloody Bournemouth, it will just be expected that he's better than his teammates and wont help him get back into Arsenal squad. Roma move would have had balls and if that had failed clubs like Bournemouth with still want him.

The other concern is I can't imagine Bournemouth have a very sophisticated medical setup down there since they still have a stadium suitable for a post-apocalyptic league 2 side in administration

lol what's your problem with Bournemouth haha? You seem to say bizarre stuff about them whenever given the chance. It's almost as if I was making jokes about Narva.

Bournemouth is a good move for him. He needs to play without pressure or anxiety, injuries permitting. We actually rejected him going to Roma because they were twats with regards to Manolas who wanted to join but they won't negotiate.

I would have liked him to go to Italy to learn as a player Eddie Howe is no whore.

What the fuck is he gonna learn at Bournemouth? How to shave with cold water?

Haha, true but he at least gets plenty of game time at the highest level. Howe is a bright young coach who went to watch Empoli et all train and stuff to see how to survive.

Plus, after Brexit goes through it will never happen again.

But [Roy] Keane urged the England international to calm down, given he has been at Arsenal since 2006 and still has much to prove.

Keane added: "It has taken him a while to settle at the club, hasn't it? Ten years?

"Listen, the guy [Walcott] needs to relax – he has had a good week. Try playing well for the next seven, eight, nine months when the real, big crunch games come.

"I wouldn't get carried away about Walcott. He has got a lot to do. He's got to keep doing it over the next year or two."

Oh and tits.
He has been a complete different player this season. Looks stronger, mature and in these few games has made more tackles and done more defensive work than the past few years already. What a transformation. Long way to go but he is tearing it up.
