I seriously doubt Suarez is going to happen but if Suarez were to arrive......a front three of Suarez,Podolski and Theo could be absolutely devastating.

Are there no good holding midfield players on the market? Lars Bender isn't happening. Fellaini is overrated and overpriced.

I think given the circumstances 40m pounds would get him, I think I heard somewhere that Liverpool have said they will allow anyone who bids that to talk to him.

Arsenal if you dont tie up Higuain and/or Suarez and instead pick up some 400k French teenager, your fans should all desert you and never come back until Arsene is dead. You could seriously get these players. SERIOUSLY. They want to come and you have the money! You just need to fucking man up and pay it.

Really you should get the both, you need them both, you really dont have ANY forwards you can totally trust at the moment.

I was thinking the other day about Arsenal and how if you want to challenge for titles, you need title challenging calibre players. In my opinion, right now you have only three - Sagna, Wilshire, Cazorla. You should be looking to up that number to at least six. Suarez and Higuain would be a huge step towards this, and you can afford it. Then you sell the MANY, MANY players you have on your books that you do not need and use the money to bolster other areas of your squad.

I think Arteta, even Mertesacker are currently better and more integral to the squad than Sagna.

I disagree, I think Sagna could reasonably be the right back at Chelsea or United or City - the title challenging teams, whereas at those clubs Arteta would spend most of his time on the bench and Mertesacker wouldnt even make the squad.

We won the CL lastvyear, that counts for something.

Well, we won the league four seasons ago, three seasons ago we finished runner up, two seasons ago we won the Champions League and last season we were top three. Compare that to Arsenal who never made it above 3rd in any of those seasons and I think we can legitimately describe us as title challengers and them not.

I 100% disagree with you on every detail. Arteta is not that great, he really isnt, I know it's not our strongest position but he could never be more than a stop-gap. Sagna is a better RB than Ivanovic and more established than Azpi, in fact I would trade him for Azpi.

Agree on the stop-gag issue, but disagree with everything else. Sagna ia not better than either, nwvermind based on form last season. Arteta wpuld fill the gap we need immediately for 1-2 seasons. 3-4 had we signed him rather than Arsenal.He's been Arsenal's key player (or one of them) since he arrived.

One of them maybe, but Arsenal have not achieved all that much since he arrived. When he is out I rarely notice him missing.

Sagna has not been the same since his double leg break and even a liability at times. We pretty much look clueless without Arteta playing 95% of the time...specially defensively-Ramsey is a bit disciplined but average and Wilshere for all his skill has no clue,tactically, to play at the heart of the team. Arteta would most definitely walk into both the Manchester teams and Chelsea.

I wish we would sign Caceres,Julio Cesar,Suarez and holding midfielder. Please, stop fucking about, Wagner.

And by the way, Koscielny is the best Arsenal defender by an absolute mile. He'd get into every team in the world apart from possibly Real Madrid.
