8:30am starts are inhumane. I'm getting old. I used to be able to stay up until four or five in the morning and still be able to get up for early games. I'll just download match of the day, I suppose.


Were we solid, or was Liverpool just toothless and uninspired?

Yeah we've been cursed with too many early games this season. The next one I think is at 10.00, then there is the 2.45 Euro game.

I guess it was the combination of both - Jenkinson looked nervous and almost let them in a couple of times yet he acquitted himself pretty well. Vermaelen was really solid at the back. The rest of the team minus Giroud (he'll come good I'm sure) was up for it. Cazorla and Arteta we're up for it. Diaby however was a man transformed easily the best game of his Arsenal career...

The defense looks a lot sharper than ever. Is it because we've played mostly uninspired attacks? I don't know but I'm really just glad for three cleansheets.
