Marotta and SAF have said it has been difficult to get a breakthrough with us regarding RVP. Wenger today has said he wants to keep his best player. I find that reassuring but I am nervous about this.

I agree and am pretty positive Arsene won't let that materialize. It would more value to keep him for a season and lose on a free than strengthen another team. We won't get a big enough fee either and about time Arsenal stop letting money dominate over footballing priorities. We really do not need to sell.

and possibly win something with the depth and experience we could have in attack and midfield....the FA cup maybe? We could hope for a stronger season with some promise and be more attractive for new commercial deals. Selling to Utd doesn't send a good signal. It is worth it I believe.
