The Legend
Thank you, Bruce.

He picked up the national team when it was awful, and worked wonders for it. In his era we started beating Mexico at home regularly. We finally won in Central America under him aswell.

In the end this World Cup wasen't all his fault, we just never produced that poacher to complement McBride. I guess people aren't exactly lining up to make a career out of picking up after someone.

I hope he has success in his next job.

Can't believe that - he's a top manager and very underrated IMO.

the US team played good football under him despite having "limited" quality in a way.
They were one of the few teams that did play a good World Cup IMO

Sorry but I’ve never heard of the guy outside his involvement with the U.S. team. What has he achieved in football?...aside from getting them to a couple of WC finals by playing mediocre opposition.

We finished last in the group with 1 point and 2 goals scored (one of them an own goal).

Let me guess, you only saw the USA - Italy game.

I think it's always good for MLS to bring in high-profile names. It says good things about the league when the most successful US coach takes a job there. Still, I'm aso intrigued to see how Americans can make it in Europe. I'd have loved to see him at Sunderland or something.
