It's been getting less horrendous every year. Last year people even claimed it was getting better. It's still not good, but they're definitely making progress from what I've heard.

The fact that BGS, under heavy pressure from Eidos no doubt, released a pre-alpha game like CM5 on the market, is enough for me never to go anywhere closer to another Eidos product, than trying a demo.

CM2007 will be alright, it really will be. As Ruud said, gotta feel some sort of sympathy for the heavily-badgered BGS in all of this.

Either way, it'll be a mile off FM07/08, but it really won't be that bad.

I tried the demo, it was okay. The game is very dumbed down, however. Barely any options for your tactics. You get the idea it was made for simple people. And the skinning isn't great either, makes it hard to navigate.
