Another problem!

I use firefox to browse t'internet!

but for some reason i still get popups. these are no normal popups but truly evil ones claiming i have malware on my hard drive. now my problem is ive done everything in my power to stop these damn things like downloading spybot (thanks liam) and deleting some spyware etc but they keep coming up and i really dont want my horoscope!

so anyway any ideas on how to stop these damn annoying things?

Do a few virus scans while you're at it, get HitmanPro.

You must have been on some comedy websites to get that kinda **** Aiden

Antivirus progs. AVG, Nod32...
Then ad aware, Spybot S&D. That should clean up most things automaticaly, if not everything

"ad" say that noscript is much more effective on browser level protection.
Actually both together are excellent.
