Yeah, I know that a texture replacement makes the job and you can easily swap classic kits with 4th set, but I meant how to assign a classic kit to different team.

For example - we have German national classic kit - but I want this slot to be assigned for Torino (for instance) and replace classic kit with Torino's third.

I know it's possible as I sow similiar mods related to that on FIFA Planet. A guy has created various kit sets for 3rd Bundesliga teams and used classic teams kit slots instead (re-assigned).

That needs researching. As far as I know you cannot assign one team kit to another....
Maybe Andy would enlighten us on this matter.
Gonna try it, tomorrow, with classic kits. If it works, then we could have something.

Why can't you if all the kit entries have an id, assetid and a powid ?
It can be done.

Ok, maybe I skipped a step but I changed teamtechid of the psg classic kit to the id of tottenham and ingame the kit is still assigned to psg.
I also tried cloning home kit of tottenham and giving it the teamkitid of the psg classic, but same result. Inside frosty editor I cannot see the classic kit for Tottenham, just home, away, third and gk.
What's the catch here? How to reassign kits to other teams?

If you edited the database and it doesn't show in game try taking Origin offline and make sure there is no squads file in the My Documents/FIFA 18/settings folder.

Thanks to this thread I've realised it's possible to swap unneeded classic kits to more useful 3rd/4th sets.

I have some spare time to play with kits and would like to create some alternative sets for couple of clubs, but I've opened DB and can't really understand it works.

teamkitid column it's team's id? How can get all classic kits unlocked?So I when I play offline all kits are available in the game? Thanks

You need to set the powid column to -1 for all rows.

Curious about this and the title updates. How does that work? Can you update only to a specific update so that this will work? And what happens if you then update to a newer title update, does that make this patch not work?

yes I couldn't get the Carabao cup stuff to work with mine... is that why?

I think any mods affecting legacy files only work with the version of the game they were made on... so when the game's updated they stop working. So this mod must uses legacy files?

I am not sure which files of any Frosty patch official updates affect, but definitely it's the reason why you cannot sort Carabao Cup out. The most patch's features are deactivated once we update the game (compatibility issues), and some files structure is changed either, so it is required to amend it somehow to get it working again.

As it has been stated before, it takes some time to do so and definitely it pisses creators off if they have to update their work over and over again every few weeks due to official EA updates. And let's be honest - completely useless updates dedicated for UT players in most cases.

As an offline player - I don't need them at all and cannot see the difference between the first and sixth update released meanwhile.

That's why we wait impatiently for CGFE 18.

ah, OK, import this code in your "locale.ini" and you have flags and Banner in all stadiums:

Guys, did any of you encountered an interesting glitch where in one match you have two sets of adboards rolling?
For me it happens in champions league matches where I.m havin ch. league adboards mixed with generic bundesliga.
Also mixes appear when I'm playing Werder Bremen in career mode.
I noted it happens also in the grinsmonster patch also.

Nope, you must not update.

Ok so which update do you have to have and how do you get FIFA to only update to a specific update?

I have the patch folder backup (v 1.08) so if you want it, i;ll send it to you.

Sure but for future reference, how do you update only to a version you want? Is there a way to do that?
And also, will any squad file work on any update? I mean, can I take the first winter transfer update and play with 1.08?
