I'm using a Sidewinder GamePad Pro USB. The analog "stick" (it's not really a stick, more of a circle) works with all other Fifa games -- complete 360-degree movement. I just purchased Fifa 2006 (Road to the World Cup), and alas, the players will only run in eight directions (at 45 degree increments).
Seems like the controller is being recognized as digital. Does anyone know of a registry setting or configuration file that I can alter to get analog movement? Anyone else have this problem? The controller setup screen within the game does not offer an "Analog/Digital" option, since this controller only has one directional input device. The devdata file (amazing tutorial, btw) doesn't seem to handle this issue, either.
Any help is appreciated!
