Aluce's training schedule.

I just made this training schedule and its been working quite nicely for its initial two weeks. It's a revisited version of DAVE's, that i tried to tweak a bit and has been working better than Dave's for me, because, obviously and as he said himself, a training schedule will work better for your own team if you tweak it accordingly.

So here goes. What i'd like from you guys basically, is advice. What YOU, yourselves, think of my programme if you have any reproaches to make it, if you think it won't be interesting on the long term. I've been trying different models on and off and this one has really given me the most immediate results you can see for yourself. But i'm also concerned this euphoria will die down. So, what do you think ?

The arrows mean crap. What counts is how much the player improved over a certain period of time. Like every 6 months or a year or something else. So they did good over the week, they might have red arrows next week.

the training schedule you have is quite similar to the one i use but i prefer to have a shooting/sprint/technique where you have training match, i always found that when you have training matches players condition recovers slower

yeah the arrors mean **** all im afraid, though it seems like a good version of daves, id throw in a shadow play for good measure but thats just me.

We need to see a before and after shot of a player over a few months.

hmmmm.

After a very good month or so of progress a lot of the players started going down again which had me chicken out. Maybe too much overloading? Anyway, i reckon i'll pick one player i'm not counting too much on and have him work with that programme on the side, so that i don't risk compromising the rest of the team's progress (i switched back to dave's programme with them).

keep you posted

You want to rotate schedules, keeps them fresh and motivated.

Also, although training like Shooting/Heading doesn't have much influence on the overall arrows (i.e. on the bars that tell you how heavy a training schedule is on the right), they make a big difference to the stats.

Always try to include things like closing down, sprints, heading, shooting, crossing, technique . . .
