Ok, sorry, that was not badly meant, I can delete the Patch also again, thats no problem.
No, don't delete it now that you've made. But next time, I would prefer you ask me before.

And at the risk of passing for the village idiot, what's a cms?

What is defined by the current version of CMS?

The current version of CMS defines all the ids for:

  • countries
  • leagues
  • teams
  • tournaments
  • formations
  • balls
  • boots
  • fonts
  • adboards
  • stadiums

There are too many players to create a standard but there are two simple rules to “reserve” some players ids depending from the team they play for:
If the team is a National team, 32 players are reserved to each team with the following rule
60000 + CountryId * 32
For example Wales has countryId = 50 and therefore the ids froms 61568 to 61599 are reserved to new players that play in Wales national team.

If the team ia a club team the following formula is applied
200010 + (TeamId – 120010) * 32
For example Dimano Minsk has TeamId = 120391 and therefore the ids froms 212202 to 212233 are reserved to new players that play in Dinamo Minsk.

These rules are applied automatically by CM10 if you choose to create the players when you create a new team.

Other objects are not yet standardized but could be future versions.

Everytime you need to create a new object select it from the CMS list that CM10 propose to you, that’s all.
When you create the patch write the version of the CMS standard that you have used (for example 10) in the specific box.
If you need to create a new object of a type that is not standardized you are free to choose any id.
CMS is an open standard and may be extended with your contribution. If, making your patch, you need to add some objects that are not already part of CMS, for example a new stadium or a new team, you may ask to extend the CMS. Visit www.sweetpatch.tv\Fifamaster to learn how to do, some new identifiers will be assigned to your patch and reserved for your exclusive use.

CMS is better as a normal CMP;)
