There are several other tournaments listed under Austria but I think they are completely unusable. I think there is a limit to how many lines you can include in one of the files (like compobj). I think I exceeded it. Therefore, anything that occurs after the cap will just not appear. That's what I meant by it being broken.

Still, if you want to play one of those other tournaments, go to Austria's tab in CM15, copy the tournament and move it to another European nation above Turkey. It will probably mean that some of the tournaments in the United States will stop working. But, it should let you play that new one.

I have in the past tried to make it mirror reality as much as possible, but I decided I wanted the parody of new groups being drawn. So, when you get to the finals of the world cup The United States might get drawn against the Netherlands, Cameroon, and Australia instead of Portugal, Germany, and Ghana.

I admit not all will like this. It's just what I elected to do this time.

Now under turkey name trophy_teamabr... etc. I need to regenerate files again? becasue when i'm inside the tournament it load but i can't select play match or see group. The lights no go there, i noly can change squad and central screen. I hope you understand what i want to tell, what's the problem

The only strange thing that russia need qualify while in real life not. Is it possible to fix this?

Two observations though,1. there's a a striker ( Ofiri from South Sudan) in Kenya squad. 2. A GK named Kadiaba in Kenya NT, and the Kadiaba in Congo DR is white.

Well, since this is based on 2014, the real question would really be Brazil. I did include them in the qualification tournament just like France is being included in the 2016 Euro Qualification tournament. If you want to modify that though, you certainly can. You have to do a few things.

For Russia, you will probably have to redesign the whole tournament and pot system unless you want unbalanced groups.

For Brazil, you would go to where it says, "Get Specific Team: Brazil at position 2 and change that to Venezuela. Then remove Venezuela at the bottom (Giant red X).

You also need to make sure that the number of matches per leg and the number of legs reflect the number of teams in the tournament. I just made and shared a little editable worksheet that will help with accomplishing that. You can find it here...

Regarding changing the European qualification. You first have to decide how many groups you want. UEFA seems to love the 9 group setup at this point. If you pull out Russia but keep Gibraltar I think you are left with 53 teams. That means 8 groups of 6 teams and 1 group of 5.

Then think of each of those teams per group as coming from a single pot. You need as many pots as there are teams per group. In this case, we need 6 pots.

The pots will have enough teams in each to add one per group. Meaning. if there are 9 groups, there are 9 teams per pot.

The last pot will only have 8 teams in it (because there is one group with only 5 teams in it -- I'm being intentionally redundant).

Pot 1 would include the 9 highest ranked teams
Pot 2 would include teams ranked 10-18
Pot 3 would include teams ranked 19-27
Pot 4 would include teams ranked 28-35
Pot 5 would include teams ranked 36-44
Pot 6 would include teams ranked 45-53 (stopping one short because there is only 8 groups with 6 teams. If you included all 54, this pot would also have 9 teams in it and it would go from 45-54).

Then each group would pull 1 team from each pot with the exception of group 9 which will only pull one team from pots 1-5 (ignoring 6).

You would then need to make sure that the schedule in the last group reflected the modified number of teams.

I wonder if all the files copied over correctly. You might try re-unzipping the rar be sure to replace all.

EA just forced me to update and now all the tournament names and team names are broken for me too. Regen also didn't work. Uhg.

Thanks that helped me fix my problem! Won't work for everyone though. The teams probably won't have the same IDs in all versions of the game. Could really mess up someone's db.

That pretty much confirms that Ouma will have to add the tournament names by hand in CM15

Hello!

I just finished my world cup qualfication in UEFA. I finished in the group second place so i waited for the play offs but after he last group match it was sason ending and i went bak to the main menu.

Is it not posssible to continue the qualification?

You can only put so many teams in a single tournament and very complicated competitions often do not work correctly. So I had to split everything up. So now you have to go start the separate playoffs tournament. Replace the default teams with the 8 best teams from your qualification. Then go from there.

You'll also notice that the World Cup itself is separate.

For the record, I hate this setup, but I exhausted myself trying to get a single tournament to work. It just doesn't.
