AI Long Range Shooting...

Hi All,

Any idea on how to increase the AI's long range shooting, they just seem to like pass all the time, either high balls in the box or through balls but very rare they will shoot from 20-25 or even 30 yards out.

Long range shooting is borked this year, programming issue I guess. I raised all players' shot power to 80+ and their long shot rating to 95. This gives everyone the long shot specialty. I also gave everyone the long shot trait. But even all this doesn't produce as many long shots as FIFA 13. It works, just not that great.

I doubt you would want my file, too many edits for most people. Use DBM 14 (I use DBM 12). Open the db, find the players table, and edit shotpower and longshots. To get the distance shooter specialty, those two ratings must add up to at least 174. 80 + 95 = 175... that's what I use. You can edit traits as well but they're not as effective. Assign a value of 65536 to players' trait1 rating in the players table. If you have problems, PM me.
