We apologize for keeping the yellow too long

So, anyone able to confirm if the ManPoo delegation was infact at this game?

I'd prefer, and hope, to see him join his countryman up front at Anfield.

Well yeah there was a delegation but they were more impressed with Wesley Sneijder then Huntelaar ;)
The newest rumour here is that Juventus wants KJH for 18m.
According to Martin van Geel, it has been silent for two weeks concerning the transfer regarding Wesley so nothing is certain yet but hearing him talk after the game yesterday it's pretty much certain that he will play for another team after the summervacation and Valencia has the best papers because he really wants to join them.

Valencia did win La Liga twice in the last 5 years and also won a UEFA-cup. Something tells me they are toplevel. They do well in the CL as well (quarters this year, but a few years ago they were in the final twice) They are unstable though, often after a good year, they end 5th or 6th or something.

KLAAS JAN HUNTELAAR: ONE MORE YEAR!

Huntelaar wants to stay in Amsterdam, he´s laughing about all the news that he´s already been signed. Let them do what they want I want to stay another year and I want to become Champions with Ajax next season, we were one goal short this year but next season we have to become champion.
He says it´s better for his development to stay one more season, you never know what can happen but right now I have no plans leaving Ajax.

That would be marvelous, if Klaas would stay. But I don't think he's going to reject a club like Man Utd, if they come with a good offer.

ManU will spend a lot of money signing Hargreaves (25m euro), so i don't think, that this summer they are ready to pay 20-25m euro for KJH

Haha, that's it.

I hope this will teach AZ to be a little less arrogant, next season. Great victory, but to be honest I never really doubted we would make it.

Im even not that unhappy Ajax won. I just cant stand van Gaal. His reaction after the match was utter bs. Even if Huntelaar did touch the ball, to make Heitinga's goal offside, still Ajax were way better and scored 2 more times.

AZ was on the best way to win everything, at the end they have nothing. That's pretty sad I think. Anyway congrats to Ajax (Y)

It was a superparty yesterday in the ArenA, fantastic win over those arrogant b@st@rds, thinking they could win easily HELLLLLLLLL NO VAN GAAL take your loss like a man and stop complaining whino :boohoo:
MoM Edgar DAVIDS and Huntelaar was superb as well.
All in all a great teameffort and it's about time we returned to the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. I've read today that we have a 'protected status' in the qualifying rounds because we are AJAX :mexican: The UEFA decided on that today. This means we will not get very strong opponents welllll depends how you look at it:

Possible opponents: Fehnerbace, Racing Genk, AEK Athens, Dinamo Bucharest, Spartak Mosow, Sparta Prague, Red Star Belgrade, Toulouse and>................FC KOPENHAGEN (again).
I'm hoping on FC Kopenhagen cause we still have a score to settle with them but no tough opponents hahahaha come on they are tough enough if you ask me. But we can beat most of them I'm sure of that.

Those are pretty tough teams. All those Eastern European teams are tough, Fenerbahce as well. Genk is probably the easiest.

I hope we get Kopenhagen and show them how lucky they were last year...

I second that, it would be a great revanche for us :mexican:

NEWS:

Ajax told the following players that they can leave the club:
Nicolae Mitea, Tom de Mul and Perez wants to leave himself.
Too bad about Kenneth and Mitea if you ask me but on the other hand.... Schilder and Vertonghen will return to Ajax next season.

It's sad Kenneth wants to leave. I think he shouldn't give up this easily, after all he did score 12 in 27 games. And if Wes leaves(which is almost certain to happen, even Japie admitted he thought he would go) he'll get more games and starting places.

I don't really care about the other two. Tom did well last season, but with Bakircioglu coming, we won't really need him anymore. Mitea is injured all the time, so it's better if he goes to find his luck somewhere else.
