Apparently there's a meeting today (it's happening at the moment) between the Inter directors, Pato, Pato's father and Braida and we're sealing the deal, according to globo.com, a respectable source when it comes to sports (and sports only haha). The fee is 20 million dollars.

Other sources say he's already ours and he's flying to Milan tomorrow to have his medical and sign the contract. And he will already join the squad, contrary to reports that he was staying with Inter until December. Cant wait!

Yes, 22 million Euros. About half of it goes to Inter and the rest goes for Pato and his agent. He's 17 and he's millionaire now. Holy. Anyway, he will be able to play for us only in January.

22 million for a 17 years old kid?

Damn, he gotta be something...

Yeah he is. He scored 12 in 25 matches for Inter not to mention his goalscoring record for the U-20 NT which is immense. He's got an average of around 0,6-0,7 goals per match, and he's 17. That's outrageous.

Ha. We beat you because Seedorf missed a penalty. After all these years coaches still don't get it: Don't let Seedorf take a penalty.

watched some vids of this kid,,,,, no wonder Milan was so interested, very similar to Kaka. Its good to see Serie A still buying any stars these days, even if its a top prospect.

Baptista would be a mistake for anything more than $8M

I also think if Milan fails to get any of their top striker targets, they should pick up Cassano and try and get him to lower his wages, itd be a win-win situation. I just dont see him acting up with guys like Maldini and Gattuso around. If only i could manage a club :)

Cassano is from another world if it comes to talent. He is one of the most gifted players on earth. Its just that he has something in his head that isnt good. His attitude s*cks! If he just could change that then he would start in every topteam!

His performances have never been bad. I remember earlier this season he was great for Real, setting up plays here and there.

Its his attitude for sure. But come on, is it to the extent that nobody wants to risk him?

He's been linked to almost every club in Italy, and they all say "No, no thanks".

Damn it sucks to be Cassano :D

It appears so. I wouldnt mind him to tell you the truth, he's a very good player. His attitude stinks but our well respected players and manager could sort him out.

I think Capello got tired of putting up with his attitude ever since he was at Roma...He didn't seem to care about Cassano while he was coaching Real Madrid...to me that's when Cassano's downfall started...His situation is very similar to Christian Vieri's imo.
