Hi guys,
I am trying to update all the rosters from a national team mod database on creation master and db master. But, instead of creating an entire new player, I want to re-name some players who don't get called up to the national team anymore with players that currently play. A lot of players from this database that i'm using don't get called up anymore (they're from the fifa world cup 2014 game.) So, if I wanted to re-name the goalie from Vanuatu, ernest bong, to their current keeper chikau mansale I open creation master, click on player, find ernest bong, change his first name and last name then save. However, when I load up fifa the name stays the same (but if I change his rating it works.) Even if i create a new settings profile the name still doesn't change.
So I went into dbmaster and found something interesting. It only allows me to edit player's names if they are in the "editedplayernames" section. Here is the example: https://i.imgur.com/5sBWsxO.png
The problem is many players from the "players" section are not included in the "editedplayernames" section so it locks the name and doesn't allow you to change it. Here is what the "players" section looks like: https://i.imgur.com/lrn8wRm.png
As you can see, it shows the players names as id numbers instead of actual letters. So I exported the table from "players" then imported it into the "editedplayernames" section. It worked, however when i loaded up the game the players had numbers instead of letters for their names.
My question is, is there a way to import all players into the "editedplayernames" section of dbmaster as actual names instead of firstnameid, lastnameid, etc.? Any help or ideas at all would be appreciated. Thank you
